About Andy Black
Andrew “Andy” C. Black, Jr. serves as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and recently became the Market Manager of the New Orleans, LA branch after serving as the Complex Manager for the LA/MS Complex from 2009-2023. He began his career as a Financial Advisor in New Orleans in 1986 and joined Smith Barney as a Producing Sales Manager in the New Orleans branch in 1996. Since 1996, Andy has served in various Branch Manager roles for the firm in Louisiana. He has served on Morgan Stanley’s Branch Manager Advisory Council from 2013-2015 and 2020-2022. Andy is a graduate of Louisiana State University – Shreveport, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.
