About Moshe Banin
Moshe Banin is an Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Management Director at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he delivers comprehensive wealth management strategies for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and nonprofit organizations. With over 30 years of experience in financial markets, his focus is on integrating advanced investment solutions with credit, tax, and multi-generational wealth transfer planning.
He serves as an integral advisor to clients navigating significant life changes, including retirement, business sales, and complex wealth transitions. His practice is built on providing tailored advice on advanced asset allocation, retirement planning strategies, and manager selection to execute sophisticated portfolio objectives.
Experience and Professional Focus
Moshe joined Morgan Stanley after spending nine years at UBS Private Wealth, serving as a Senior Vice President – Wealth Management and Senior Portfolio Manager. Prior to UBS, Moshe spent 19 years at Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Early in his career, he supported the development and distribution of services for high-net-worth investors. Demonstrating strategic leadership, he rose to Director of International Strategy, where he identified trends in the international high-net-worth marketplace and helped launch Bernstein's London-based private client practice. He then transitioned to become a dedicated wealth advisor, focusing on high-net-worth clients, family offices, and foundations.
He is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), experienced in helping business owners maximize and strategically transfer the value of their companies.
Community & Education
Moshe focuses his philanthropic work on supporting the special needs community. He founded One House with his wife, Jana, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing supportive housing for adults with autism. He also serves on the Board of Directors for The Victory Center for Autism and Related Disabilities. Moshe has served on several boards, including the Federation of Broward, where he was Chair of the Investment Committee. He is also the Co-Founder of Luria Academy in Brooklyn.
Moshe graduated from Yeshiva University with a degree in Economics and earned his M.B.A. from New York University, where he taught financial modeling as a Teaching Assistant. He lives in Surfside, Florida, with his wife, Jana, and their three children.
