About Me

Drawing on over twenty five years of experience working with ultra-high-net-worth families and individuals, Jim Moriarity focuses on liquidity and risk management strategies for clients who hold concentrated public and private equity positions. Jim was named to Forbes’ inaugural Top 250 Wealth Advisors list in 2016 and again in 2017 and 2018. Jim was also featured in Barron’s Magazine in its Top 1200 Advisors Ranking in each of the last nine years (2009-2017).  He was also named one of the top 400 financial advisors in the United States by the Financial Times in 2013. 

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA, Jim spent 10 years in the technology industry at Sequent Computer and Data General Corporation. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1992, making him a twenty five year veteran of Private Wealth Management.

Brad DeHond, a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, focuses on comprehensive wealth management for ultra-high net worth individuals and families.  He concentrates on strategic and tactical asset allocation and the implementation of alternative assets.  Brad also has extensive experience advising clients and their tax and legal advisors on complex trust and estate issues.  He has been quoted in numerous publications, including Fortune and Barron’s.  He has also been named to Barron’s Top 1200 Financial Advisors in 2014-2017, the Financial Times Top 400 financial advisors in the United States for 2013 and 2014 and was also named one of the top 40 advisors under 40 in the US by Wall Street Magazine (2011 & 2012) and REP. magazine (2013). 

Brad received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 and joined Morgan Stanley that same year. He joined Private Wealth Management to partner with Jim Moriarity in 2000.

Emily Mulka oversees the team’s operational infrastructure and day-to-day activities.  She conducts comprehensive reviews of client portfolios and prepares customized asset allocation recommendations.  She also spearheads the implementation of the investment process for clients.  Additionally, she is responsible for the development and management of the team’s support staff.  She was named to Forbes Magazine's list of America's Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors in 2018.

Emily joined Morgan Stanley after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in 2005. She earned her MBA in 2012 through a full, merit-based fellowship from The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Jacqui Lumley's primary focus is on streamlining the team's business operations to better serve our clients. She helps manage the daily operational and administrative functions of our business She works closely with her colleague, Tori Vandeleur,3on client-service requests and various special projects.
