We are a team of seasoned professionals who manage over $1.5 Billion (as of 1/2/2025) for a select clientele of families, family offices, and foundations. The team is led by Kay Grasman: Kay is a credentialed Morgan Stanley Family Wealth Director and Portfolio Manager, and holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation. Kay's European background has attuned her to the needs and concerns of foreign nationals living in the U.S. and U.S. citizens living abroad. We look forward to helping you and your family, and discussing the resources we can put at your service.

Cross Border Services for International Executives and Their Families:

Many of our clients are foreign nationals living in the US or US citizens living abroad. For these individuals, life can get very complicated.

Take the executive who earns income here but maintains bank and investment accounts in his native country. Or the business owner with facilities in Europe and the US, not to mention rental income from multiple properties in various countries. Or maybe the executive who works for a global corporation in the US but is having a yacht built in his homeland and is concerned about currency risk.

Team Mondial has developed a network of experienced attorneys and accountants well versed in the income and estate tax laws of various countries to assist clients with their estate and tax planning needs. We work with those professionals to implement a comprehensive wealth management plan that provides the guidance to address complex financial and life decisions.

• Our investment philosophy is in part derived from MS Model Portfolio Solutions which is a compilation of "best ideas" of each analyst. Our team's tactical asset allocation, potentially enhances long term performance by taking advantage of temporary asset dislocation . Our portfolios are personalized based on clients needs and can be allocated across equities, fixed income, alternatives, real estate and currencies

Strategy Selection
• We use a top down approach by looking at macro trends in the economy and then drilling down to individual names
• We use a stock selection approach, where we identify specific industries where we see consistent growth and select unique companies that have strong business models and give back to shareholders
• Dividend equities are an important component of our core holdings

Morgan Stanley Collaboration
• Morgan Stanley's extensive research division provides our team with equity and fix income recommendations which we can execute in the appropriate client portfolios
• As an adjunct to the MS research effort our group focuses on corporate events, such as balance sheet restructuring, consolidation in the industry spin-off, and merger and acquisitions

About Kay Grasman

Born in Paris, Kay Grasman came to the U.S. in 2006 and joined a Morgan Stanley predecessor firm a year later. She focuses primarily on foreign nationals and U.S. citizens living abroad, both of whom face unique challenges ranging from taxation to currency issues. Kay also works closely with many woman executives who, like their male counterparts, have the acumen, but not necessarily the time, to manage their own investments and create their own comprehensive wealth management strategy.

Kay has a B.A. degree in economics and management from the Sorbonne and a Masters degree in international management and finance from the Institut Superieur de Gestion in Paris. She also holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation and is a member of Morgan Stanley's Chairman's Club. She was named to Shook Research’s Working Mothers Top Wealth Advisors list in 2019, 2020 and 2021. She has also been named to Forbes' Top Women Wealth Advisors list in 2020, 2021 and 2023.

Kay lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children. She is an active member of the France/New York Council, the French Institute Alliance and several women’s organizations such as 100 Women in Finance and the High Water Women Foundation. She enjoys educating women and families on finance and investing.

About LeAnn Yee

LeAnn joined Team Mondial as Group Director in February 2024, where she is responsible for business management and strategy as well as operational and administrative management. Prior to Morgan Stanley, LeAnn spent seven years in wealth management at Hightower Advisors, where she enjoyed helping clients plan for and achieve their goals through financial planning as well as overseeing administrative services, client communications, and marketing.

She began her career in finance at Goldman Sachs in the Institutional Equities Division and continued her focus on Asian equities at Asia Equity and Kim Eng Securities. She expanded her focus to institutional fixed income while working at Trans-National Research/Freimark Balir, where she communicated macroeconomic and political research on emerging market countries and participated in emerging market bond trading.

LeAnn earned her Master of Management degree in finance and marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and her Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She holds her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and is life and health insurance licensed.

LeAnn resides in Manhattan with her two children.

In October of 2023 Aine Joined Morgan Stanley full-time after interning with the firm during the summer of 2023, after graduating Cum Laude from Marist College. About Ty M. Fontaine

Ty joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 as a dedicated Private Wealth Management Virtual Engagement Associate, where he worked with an elite group of Morgan Stanley financial advisors in expanding their digital marketing footprint and putting forth efforts to drive new business. He holds his Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses.

Ty graduated from The University of Colorado Boulder where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and a minor in Spanish.

Ty is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time hunting and fly fishing. He can also be found practicing Spanish, traveling to new places, or hanging around family and friends. Ty resides in Manhattan and is originally from Littleton, Colorado.

About Tony Silva

Tony Silva is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in New York City.

Tony began his career in financial services in 1995 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 as a Pipeline Manager in our Home Loans organization. In 2017, he was promoted to Project Manager on that team. Tony assumed his current position in February, 2018. Prior to his tenure at the firm, Tony held a number of roles at mortgage financing institutions.

Tony received a Bachelor of Science in Management from Rutgers University. He and his family reside in Livingston, New Jersey.

When not at the office, Tony enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and spending time with family and friends.
