My Story and Services

Mingxi Yu is an Advisor serving ultra-high-net-worth families, business owners and tech executives. Born in Beijing, Mingxi was educated at Tsinghua University and later the University of Washington. She began her career at JPMorgan in Seattle, where she discovered her passion for helping clients think through complex estate and legacy considerations. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2026 and now offers clients a thoughtful, high-touch experience. Mingxi strives to understand each family’s personal and professional story, then suggests strategies for tax efficiency, business succession and prudent diversification, drawing on the firm’s robust platform and access to family office resources. Outside the office, Mingxi enjoys mountain climbing, travelling, and learning about different cultures all around the globe, she has visited over 40 countries.
