My Mission Statement
We create and implement investment portfolios designed to grow and help protect your assets with an emphasis on cash-flow growth.
Welcome
Financial markets can be overwhelming to outside observers, but I’ve found that following a simple, common-sense approach often yields the best results. This is particularly true in today’s media- saturated environment where one can be overwhelmed by data and information.
But data alone does not equal wisdom. Temperament, perspective and self-awareness are underrated attributes in the world of finance and these are things I strive to bring to each of my clients as we work toward achieving their goals.
Less is more is one of my guiding principles and the ability to identify what matters most, filter-out noise and focus on what we can control are hallmarks of my process.

My Process

The foundation of my wealth planning approach is our comprehensive 4-step process that reveals each client’s unique situation and puts all the pieces of their financial picture together. The benefit of following this process is that it provides clarity and confidence as you move toward your vision of the future.
Step 1: Discovery
The process begins with a conversation about your financial and lifestyle goals as well as what you expect from the financial planning process. I will also review information about me, my practice and my approach to financial planning. The purpose of this meeting is for each of us to determine whether or not there is a fit. In my experience, this is the foundation of a solid long-term relationship.
Step 2: Design
Once we have a clear understanding of your situation, we design a planning strategy specific to your goals. This process goes far beyond asset management and addresses our clients’ most important values, relationships, and lifelong dreams. The plan we develop provides you with straightforward, customized, actionable advice designed to keep you on track with the ability to course-correct as needed.
Step 3: Deploy
After conducting comprehensive due diligence and analysis of appropriate investment vehicles, strategies are chosen from our expansive investment platform that match your goals, risk tolerance and overall plan.
Step 4: Ongoing Assessment & Service
We conduct reviews on a regularly scheduled basis that lets us track against current goals, respond nimbly to changes in your situation, and act upon new opportunities as they arise.

Biography
With over 25 years in the financial industry, I offer you professional competence, personal integrity and a refined process to assist in putting all the pieces of your financial picture together.
After graduating from UC San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in English/American Literature, I chose
to broaden my life experience by teaching English in Japan. There I deepened my beliefs in valuing people time and events. Upon returning home I began my career in financial services.
I combined my interest in current affairs and financial markets with a desire to help people live more meaningful lives, especially in retirement.
Stewardship and service are two of my guiding principles and becoming the trusted advisor to clients has
allowed me to realize both my professional and personal goals. I believe a balanced life is essential
happiness and as such I’m dedicated to helping my community be a better place to live and work. I am active in
coaching youth sports, Lector Ministry at St. Anthony of Padua Parish and fundraising for two local charities. In my spare time I enjoy crossfit, reading history, fishing and music.
A Marin County native, I grew up the ninth of ten children in San Rafael and reside in Novato, CA with my
wife Cecilia and our most valuable assets - daughters Keira, Meghan and Julia.
