I was born in Santa Barbara, CA in 1963, and I graduated High School in Sumner, Washington in 1981. Following that, I moved to Wenatchee and taught snow skiing and attended Wenatchee Valley College. During this time I continued to teach and coach full time in the winter as well as work on fishing boats in Alaska until 1993.
I moved to Yakima in 1993, where my then future wife (Jennifer) had landed a job with the Yakima Fire Department. In 1995, I finished School and started working as a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney (later became Morgan Stanley).
I began serving on the volunteer Board of Directors of Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health in 2001. I was active in planning the scope and future size of the agency and joined their full time staff as a Director of Strategic Planning in 2010. I have the greatest respect for people working in the healthcare field. It’s very hard work, but is also a great calling.
In August of 2018, I returned to Morgan Stanley and having been serving my clients ever since. I’ve been fortunate enough to have in-depth personal connections with a wide variety of individuals. The wealthy business person to the homeless addict, to a single mom trying to do the best she can for her child, to the police officers and firefighters going to work to serve and protect the community. Each person has value as an individual, and each has a unique perspective. It’s been my privilege to serve the great people in this community.
