My Story and Services

With over 34 years of experience, I work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and small businesses, to help advance their wealth management goals. My career began as a Financial Advisor in 1991, and I have spent 31 years with Morgan Stanley (formerly Smith Barney). As an Executive Director, Portfolio Management Director, and Financial Advisor, I focus on wealth management, tax minimization, retirement, financial, and estate planning strategies for affluent clients.

What I enjoy most about my job is to help clients think strategically about what they are trying to accomplish longer term, and to provide solutions to help optimize their situation. Many of my clients have experienced great success in their careers, yet lack the time and resources to put their own financial house in order. We, at Morgan Stanley, offer a holistic approach to wealth management - not only to make investment recommendations, but also to fully understand all aspects of our clients’ financial lives. This can include their family dynamics, how they achieved their wealth, their values and goals, their cash flow needs, their behavioral biases, tax and estate planning strategies, and any other issues that surround their wealth.

I enjoy being involved within my community. I currently serve on the Philanthropy and Scholarship Committee for the Peninsula National Charity League Chapter. I have also previously served as Co-President for the local Education Foundation; The Peninsula Education Foundation.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, riding my Peloton, and participating in a number of charitable efforts. I have two amazing children, Peter (22) and Danielle (19) and live in Palos Verdes Estates, California.

2Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
