I began my financial service career 13 years ago as a client service associate with Ameriprise Financial. I moved to Morgan Stanley as a Wealth Advisory Associate in 2012, where I developed comprehensive financial plans and strategies for clients. I moved into the Financial Advisor role in 2014 where I work closely with my clients to help identify and prioritize their financial needs and goals that matter most. Comfort comes from having structure, a comprehensive plan and a relationship with a financial professional who cares. Let me provide guidance for all aspects of your financial life and know that someone knowledgeable and responsible is always looking out for your best interest and concerns.

Michael attended Providence College and graduated with a B.S in Finance. He currently holds his series 7, 66 and Life and Health Licenses. He also attained the Chartered Retired Plan Specialist title through the College of Financial Planning in 2013. He is also a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®.

Michael lives on Long Island with his wife, Gina and enjoys golfing, skiing, and traveling in his free time.

About Isaac Simon

Isaac seeks to understand clients’ goals, values, and circumstances, and then he customizes strategies designed to target their objectives and help them maintain the financial independence they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve. In addition to applying his investment acumen to portfolio construction and wealth planning, Isaac sees tremendous value in his experience as an educator and coach, because it helps him communicate the importance of financial planning and its core concepts to his clients.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Isaac began his career in 1996 at J.B. Oxford, a brokerage financial services firm, and moved to UBS in 2001. He later formed an advisory team at Morgan Stanley in 2014. Isaac graduated from the State College at Buffalo with a B.A. in business administration.

GETTING TO KNOW ISAAC
Isaac grew up in upstate New York and currently resides in Manhattan with his wife, Sandi, and two children, Ryan and Ava. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering, working out, and traveling. Isaac has been involved with Coalition for the Homeless since 2006, and he received the Advisor with Heart Award from Registered Rep magazine in 2012, an honor that recognizes industry professionals who are deeply committed to charitable causes. In 2017, Isaac won the Community Leadership award from Morgan Stanley.

About Gwen Parks

Gwen is committed to helping clients throughout the country grow and preserve their wealth by delivering highly customized advice in an effort to achieve their financial goals. As a Financial Advisor and the team’s Financial Planning Specialist, she uses a comprehensive wealth management planning process to understand each client’s individual values and objectives. Gwen has experience working with woman and families going through transitions in their lives that require education, guidance, and alteration to their financial plan. She finds it rewarding to be able to grow with her clients through their lifelong milestones.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Gwen joined Morgan Stanley in 2017 in western New York as a Digital Advisor to help the firm’s Financial Advisors with growth strategies utilizing digital resources. She later became a Wealth Advisor Associate working with Advisors and their clients on financial planning. Gwen moved to New York City in 2019, where she joined her current team as a Financial Advisor. Previously, she worked for a global medical imaging company, where she held various positions in corporate finance and supply chain management. Her diverse background has broadened her perspective and enhanced her problem-solving skills, both of which are assets in the work she focuses on today. Gwen holds multiple licenses, including the Series 7, 66, and Life, Accident, and Health Insurance. She graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in finance and supply chain management.

GETTING TO KNOW GWEN A native of Rochester, Gwen currently resides in New York City (Forest Hills) with her husband, Steve, and son, Stanley. She enjoys exploring New York City, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

About Joshua Friedman, CFP®*

Josh is the team’s Director of Business Strategy, focusing on operations and administration. He is responsible for client trading, portfolio reporting, investment research, and assistance with cash management and lending services.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE Josh began his career at Morgan Stanley in 2010 and has held a variety of roles at the firm, including providing order entry support and working on the financial planning desk. By collaborating with thousands of the firm’s advisors through these positions, he gained valuable insight about Morgan Stanley resources that he uses today as he works with clients. Josh joined the team as a Client Service Associate in 2014, and he has earned the Series 7, 66, and Life and Health Insurance licenses, as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®* designation. He graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in economics.

GETTING TO KNOW JOSH Josh grew up in Marlboro, New Jersey, and currently lives in Long Island City. He is an avid sports fan and plays in several flag football and basketball leagues. In addition, he enjoys cooking, volunteering, and golfing in his free time.

Carmen assists clients with all aspects of account service, including wire transfers, administrative changes, and Morgan Stanley Online. She enjoys building relationships by helping clients address a wide range of account-related needs, and her goal is to exceed their service expectations, both initially and continually over the long term.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE Carmen has spent most of her career at Morgan Stanley and joined the firm in 1999. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she worked in the banking industry for 10 years. As a result of her tenure, she is highly knowledgeable about firm resources and processes, which helps her serve clients efficiently and accurately.

GETTING TO KNOW CARMEN Born and raised in New York, Carmen lives in Queens with her husband, Jorge. Outside the office, she loves to crochet and has put these skills to work for Morgan Stanley’s Loops of Love charity. Carmen also enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, reading, going for walks, and spending afternoons in her back yard gardening.
