My Story and Services
Michael, originally an engineering major, found his true passion in economics, ultimately earning a B.S. in Economics from Florida State University (FSU) in 2004. Born and raised in Louisiana, with strong family ties to Tallahassee, Florida, Michael's roots are deeply connected to the South.
Upon graduation, Michael launched his career in the financial services industry, starting with Ameriprise Financial. His journey then took him to OneAmerica Securities, Calton & Associates, JP Morgan, and finally, in 2023, to Morgan Stanley, where he continues to build on his skilled focus.
Now living in Largo, Florida, with his wife and three children, Michael is dedicated to serving individuals, families, and small businesses. He takes pride in developing strong relationships with his clients' CPAs and trust representatives, ensuring a comprehensive and personalized approach to financial management.

About Michael Johnson
Michael Johnson is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Florida.
Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.
Michael began his career in financial services in 2010, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Regional Lending Director at Wells Fargo Advisors. He also served as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.
Michael is a graduate of the Middle Tennessee State University, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Finance. He lives in St. Petersburg, FL. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys the outdoors with his dog Wayne, playing ice hockey and golf, and watching all of his favorite sports teams let him down. He serves his community through Reach St. Pete, a non-profit that provides resources to those experiencing homelessness, low-income, and at-risks situations.

About Eric Carroll
Eric Carroll is a Vice President and Financial Planning Director serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in North & South Carolina’s market. He is responsible for helping Financial Advisors with their clients’ and prospects’ financial planning needs.
Eric began his career in financial services in 2006 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. Prior to his joining Morgan Stanley, Eric worked at Raymond James Financial in various roles over 13-years, with the most recent as the Director of Sales for the Annuity, Life Insurance & Long-Term Care insurance division.
Eric graduated from the University of South Florida and holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Long-Term Care designations along with his Series 6, 63, 7, 24 & Insurance licenses. Eric lives in Seminole, FL with his wife of 20-years and 2 teenage daughters. Outside of work, Eric and his family spend most of their free-time volunteering with both their church and school, overseeing major events and assisting with various school competitions. When they are not volunteering, Eric’s family enjoys being outdoors, traveling and exploring for new adventures.
