About Me
Michael Daly is a Financial Advisor, Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, Portfolio Management Director, and Family Wealth Advisor based in Albuquerque, NM. He was named a 2022, 2023, and 2024 Forbes Top Advisor in New Mexico, and was a member of the Director’s Club and President’s Club at Morgan Stanley.
Michael joined Dean Witter in 1995, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained from his previous roles as a public accountant, regional information systems director, and business system analyst.
Michael was born in Waterbury, CT, and raised in Rockville CT. He earned his B.S. in Business and Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 1984, and completed postgraduate work at the University of Arizona from 1987-1988. With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Michael has helped numerous clients pursue their financial goals and help preserve their wealth for future generations.
Michael has had vast experience from the highs of the late 1990’s through significant and historical changes in the markets/economy. Personal and professional experience has shown him every aspect of financial planning, goals, needs and priorities for individuals and appropriate strategic investing for institutions. He has found that “it is not the analysis of markets and choices in securities that has ultimately helped clients. It is the empathetic, active listening to clients, their unique requirements and dreams.”
In addition to his professional achievements, Michael is also a dedicated husband and father. He has been married to his wife Linley for 30 years, and they have three children, Lauren, Ryan and Maya. Outside of work Michael enjoys working out aerobically, weight training, playing golf, and loves to travel. He was the board member at several organizations, including the American Red Cross, President New Mexico museum of History and Art Foundation, Animal Humane Society, and the National Dance Institute. He was also a University of Connecticut student mentor.
Michael is a lifelong learner and has studied mandarin at a moderate level. He has even done several market updates on the radio, sharing his insights and knowledge with a wider audience. His dedication to his clients and his community is a reflection of his personal values of integrity, generosity, and accountability.

Investors should carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) before investing. The prospectus contains this and other information about the ETF. To obtain a prospectus, contact your Financial Advisor or visit the ETF company’s website.
