My Story and Services

With more than three decades of experience, Michael Allaway seeks to simplify complex financial decisions for retirees and those preparing for retirement. He focuses on thoughtful portfolio management, comprehensive retirement planning and intentional family legacy strategies, helping clients feel informed and confident as they navigate life’s next chapter.

Michael began his financial services career in 1991, the same year he graduated from Northwestern University, where he played football for the Wildcats. After a long tenure advising individuals and families, he joined Morgan Stanley’s Oak Brook, IL branch in 2026, bringing seasoned insight and a steady, client-first mindset to the team. Drawing on his deep market perspective, Michael works closely with clients to align their investment portfolios and retirement income plans with the goals that matter most to them.

A lifelong skier, Michael frequently heads to the Rockies—convenient now that his children attend school in Colorado. When away from the slopes, he enjoys staying connected to Northwestern athletics and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
