Billy is the Market Manager for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s offices in Coral Gables and Miami Beach.  He has been in the financial industry for 19 years. 
Billy is a graduate of the University of Florida, where upon graduation he joined Morgan Stanley in New York City as a Fixed Income Trader and then moved to the Private Wealth Management division. Billy moved back to Miami in 2012 and joined Merrill Lynch as their Offshore Sales Manager. In 2013 he re-joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Miami as the Complex Business Development Manager. In 2018 Billy joined JP Morgan to open and build out the Miami office for JP Morgan Securities (now known as JP Morgan Advisors).  He returned to Morgan Stanley in his current role in 2022.
Billy and his wife Aimee have three boys. In his spare time, he enjoys watching his kids play sports, playing golf and trips with his family. He is a diehard Florida Gator fan.  Actively involved in fundraising for Cancer Research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center through Castaways Against Cancer & the Dolphin Cancer Challenge.
Externally he serves on the board The Alliance for Florida’s National Parks. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico and moved to Miami in 1990, where he spent most of his childhood.

Mijanou is a First Vice President, Branch Manager with Morgan Stanley, a Certified Portfolio Manager through Columbia University, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
With the firm since 1999, Mijanou is an Alumnus of the College of Charleston, has a B.S from Barry University. A graduate of the NADA^® DCA program in advanced financial and operational management, she passed the series 7, 65, 63, 3, 9 and 10 examinations. Mijanou’ s practice focuses on financial planning and asset allocation management, and she holds a Morgan Stanley designated Family Wealth Advisor (FWA)
Mijanou has served as a board member for the Portfolio Management Institute, The Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers, and The Miami Children’s Museum. Mijanou is an alumni and current member of the Board of Trustees at The Williston Northampton School and volunteers for Sunshine Labrador Retriever Rescue.
Mijanou has completed twelve 26.2-mile marathons, enjoys boating, golf, running and traveling. She currently resides in Miami Beach, Florida with her husband Craig, Orthopedic Surgeon at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, their son and Louie the Labrador Retriever.

Carolina was born in Medellin, Colombia and came to the US when she was 4 years old. In 2015 she graduated from Florida International University with an MBA. She speaks both Spanish and Portuguese. Carolina has 23 years experience in the financial industry and 15 years with Morgan Stanley. Throughout her career she had held several roles including operations, sales and compliance. Carolina has been a Risk Officer for the last 8 years. Carolina’s husband is Brazilian, he is a firefighter and paramedic and they have been married for 17 years with 2 fur babies, Jessy, and Walter. When not working, she enjoys running, cycling, camping, hiking and cooking.

Lily Vesterlund, serves as the First Vice President and Business Service Officer for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in the Miami Market, at our Coral Gables and Miami Beach branches. With over 24 years of experience in the financial industry, Lily is dedicated to executing the organization’s strategic priorities by stressing the importance of education and employee development, with a strong emphasis on consistency, quality, and compliance with Firm policies and procedures.
 
Her career began at First Union Securities Inc., where she started as a Sales Assistant, and later became a Financial Advisor and Wealth Supervisor at HSBC Securities.  In 2016, she joined Morgan Stanley, where she has continued her commitment to professional growth, leadership, and community involvement.
 
Lily was born in Cuba, raised in Spain and the United States.  She pursued her education in Miami, graduating Cum Laude with an Associate Arts degree in Architecture and Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Management and International Business. 
 
Outside of her professional life, Lily finds joy in her family, including her daughter, husband, and friends.

Nelson Portobanco is a Risk officer at Morgan Stanley, supporting the Miami market since 2016. He brings 18 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds FINRA Series 7,9,10, and 24 licenses, among others.
Nelson earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida International University and previously served as an Operations Manager at Global Investor Services, now Insigneo. Outside of work, he enjoys sports and traveling with his wife and daughter.

Massiel Rodriguez joined our Market Service Leadership team as our Business Service Officer at our Coral Gables  and Miami Beach Offices.
Massiel brings over ten years of industry experience, having started her career at Wells Fargo Advisors right after graduating from High School. During her tenure there, she excelled in various roles, including Client Service Associate, Ops Associate, and Operations Manager. Prior to joining us, she served as an Operations Manager at Insigneo Securities LLC. Massiel holds several FINRA certifications, including Series 7, 66, 9, 10, and 24.
 
On a personal side, Massiel was born and raised in Cuba. Came to country as a child where she was able to study. Outside of work, Massiel enjoys spending quality time with her children, Daphne, and Abdel and traveling with family and friends.

Lylliam was born in Managua, Nicaragua, and moved to the United States in 1988. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently, which has been a tremendous asset in her role.
With over 25 years of experience in the banking sector, Lylliam transitioned into the financial industry and has been with Morgan Stanley for the past 19 years as the Branch Administrator for our Coral Gables and Miami Beach offices. Her extensive experience and dedication have greatly contributed to our team's success.
Outside of her professional life, Lylliam has a passion for travel and enjoys exploring new destinations. When she is not traveling, she cherishes spending quality time with her family in Naples, Florida.
