My Process

Your goals, hopes and dreams are at the center of my work. That’s why I'll plan to meet with you at length when you first begin working with me. Once I have a full understanding of your goals and objectives, I'll suggest ways to put your money to work.

    Our relationship begins with learning more about you. I take the time to fully understand you and your family by evaluating your financial needs and investment preferences. I will consider all of your challenges, goals, and aspirations when building your financial picture.

    Using your life goals as my compass, I will create a risk-balanced strategy which maps a clear path to achieving your financial objectives. Our strategy will incorporate your investment objectives, timeline, cash requirements and risk tolerance.

    I apply extensive research and analysis, and also utilize Morgan Stanley's full suite of resources, to help ensure decisive action in all market scenarios. I will help you to select from the hundreds of investment management firms available to you, and identify specific stocks, bonds and other securities that may be appropriate for your portfolio. Then I will closely monitor your portfolio.

    Step 4: Performance Check-In
    You will receive a comprehensive quarterly performance review, helping you track progress toward your objectives. And when your circumstances change, I will work with you to revise your strategy and reposition your assets to reflect your new needs and goals.

Meet My Team

About Kalyn Fitzpatrick

Kalyn serves as a Registered Client Services Associate and holds her Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses. She has been in the Financial Services industry since 2021, and with Morgan Stanley since the beginning of 2023.

Kalyn moved from Colorado Springs, Colorado to St. Petersburg, Florida in 2023. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Political Science.

Outside of work, she is an avid sports fan and also enjoys exploring all the activities that Florida has to offer.

About Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Florida.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Michael began his career in financial services in 2010, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Regional Lending Director at Wells Fargo Advisors. He also served as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.

Michael is a graduate of the Middle Tennessee State University, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Finance. He lives in St. Petersburg, FL.. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys the outdoors with his dog Wayne, playing ice hockey and golf, and watching all of his favorite sports teams let him down. He serves his community through Reach St. Pete, a non-profit that provides resources to those experiencing homelessness, low-income, and at-risks situations.
