    About Me

    With more than three decades of experience as a Financial Advisor, Charlie Medelberg focuses on establishing trusting long-term relationships with clients by listening attentively to their unique concerns and delivering a high level of advice and communication that helps provide confidence in the future.

    Charlie devotes a considerable amount of time to getting to know his clients on a highly personal level. He wants clients to know they are working with someone who is not only deeply committed to protecting their interests, but an extension of their financial selves as well.

    Charlie was named to Morgan Stanley’s prestigious Master’s Club – an elite group of the Firm’s top Financial Advisors – for each of the last 5 years. Charlie has access to the most brilliant minds at Morgan Stanley to provide him with the most current, accurate information for his clients. He is highly adept at incorporating his knowledge and views with those of the Firm to provide his clients with prudent advice.
    Finance has been central to Charlie’s life since before he entered the financial services industry. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance. He is also passionate about improving the lives of children, as exhibited by his volunteer work with many local children’s charities.

    When Charlie isn’t serving his clients faithfully, he is spending quality time with his wife of 33 years and their two daughters.

    As a seasoned Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager at The Medelberg McKay Vasta Group, Grant McKay focuses on maintaining a holistic approach to our clients’ wealth management needs, as well as creating comprehensive investment and asset allocation strategies. Grant is dedicated to helping clients develop and execute a personalized financial plan that enables them to live comfortably, retire and fulfill their dreams.
    Grant joined Morgan Stanley in August of 2009, having moved back to St. Louis from New York City where he was an account executive and contract negotiator at SeamlessWeb LLC.  Prior to that, Grant worked as a financial analyst for Fiduciary Asset Management, a St. Louis based investment management firm, where he gained experience in options.
    Grant graduated from the University of Colorado – Boulder in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in International Politics and a minor in Germanic Studies. A St. Louis native, Grant lives in Ladue with his wife and two children. Grant stays involved in the community as the head of the local University of Colorado alumni chapter and as part of the volunteer leadership committee at St Louis Children’s Hospital. An avid fly fisherman, Grant fishes throughout southern Missouri and northern Arkansas, but his favorite fishing spot is the Frying Pan River in Colorado. He also enjoys skiing, squash, tennis, golf and playing guitar, and is a member of the Roaring Fork Club near Aspen.

    Michael, a holistic wealth planner, focuses on portfolio management, wealth preservation and estate planning strategies, liquidity management solutions, financial goal planning and insurance solutions. Highly analytical and detail-oriented by nature, he is intimately familiar with the broad range of products and services available at Morgan Stanley and is highly proficient at – and greatly enjoys – educating his clients about their investments.

    Michael is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in Management with a concentration in Finance. Michael entered the financial services industry in 2007. Today, he feels honored to play such an integral role in helping so many investors grow their wealth and preserve it for future generations.

    A native of the St. Louis area, Michael holds the Series 7, 31, 66 and life and health insurance licenses. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, golfing, traveling and collecting fine wine. He is also active in the community, volunteering his time and resources to several organizations that benefit children, most notably Epworth, Ronald McDonald House, and Logos School.

    A St. Louis native, Dori Stegmann is an experienced Portfolio Associate who joined The Medelberg McKay Vasta Group at Morgan Stanley in 2013. As a valued member of our team, Dori handles a broad range of responsibilities, from preparing portfolio reviews and scheduling to providing clients with world-class service and leading the marketing and educational efforts that enable us to connect more deeply with our clients. With her detail-oriented and caring nature, Dori is deeply committed to exceeding client expectations
    Dori began her career in financial services in 2005 with Morgan Stanley in Destin, Florida, where her husband served in the United States Air Force. In 2011, she returned to St. Louis with her husband and two daughters to be closer to her extended family.
    Dori earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance and Investments from Webster University. She is registered and currently holds Series 7, Series 66, and life and variable annuity insurance licenses.
    When she isn't working, Dori enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling to the beach, being active outdoors, practicing yoga, and volunteering at her daughters' schools. A strong believer in giving back, Dori is actively involved in autism awareness and is an ardent supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
