Combining our own talents with the vast resources of Morgan Stanley, we craft customized wealth management solutions for a select global clientele of successful business owners and stewards of significant wealth. Grounded in investment strategy, our comprehensive solutions involve tax and estate advisory, insurance planning, strategic borrowing and virtually anything else that touches our clients’ financial lives. About Ricardo J. Avila

Drawing on more than two decades of global financial services experience, Ricardo Avila delivers comprehensive wealth management solutions to an elite clientele of affluent families from Spanish-speaking nations in the Caribbean and the Americas. His primary focus is on clients who live and work in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras and his native El Salvador.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley International Wealth Management in 2020, Ricardo spent 17 years at Banco Santander International in Miami, where he progressed through senior roles that included Senior Banker, Team Leader and Regional Director of the Central America & Caribbean market. Earlier in his career, Ricardo served as an Assistant Vice President at Coutts International, focusing on the Mexican market.

Ricardo earned a BBA from the University of Miami, majoring with in economics and finance, and went on to participate in graduate programs in Finance at London School of Economics. Raised in San Salvador and Miami, he is fluent in Spanish and English. Outside of work, Ricardo enjoys playing golf, boating and fishing.

About Francisco Salazar Moreno

Drawing on 15 years of international investing experience, Francisco Salazar Moreno crafts highly customized strategies for a global clientele of affluent families and individuals. As a designated Portfolio Manager, Francisco generates investment ideas, advises on strategic and tactical asset allocations and offers assessment of risk and volatility in his clients portfolios.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2020, Francisco spent thirteen years at Banco Santander. As their Director of Active Investment Services, he led a team that catered to accredited investors, offering portfolio advisory trading and portfolio management services utilizing strategic and tactical allocation. Prior to joining Banco Santander, Francisco began his career at Morgan Stanley in Madrid, Spain.
Francisco holds two university degrees, Bachelor in Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master in Stock Exchanges and Financial Markets from Instituto de Estudios Bursatiles (IEB) in Spain. Francisco additionally has participated in graduate programs in Finance at London School of Economics.
Born in Madrid and raised in Murcia, Spain, Francisco is fluent in Spanish and English.

About Carlos Mercadal

CCarlos Mercadal Vilchez brings over two decades of wealth management experience to service of an international clientele of affluent families and individuals. Carlos concentrates on business development, with a particular focus on developing relationships in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Carlos joined Morgan Stanley in 2020, after 16 years at Banco Santander in Barcelona and Miami. Among his many roles at Banco Santander, Carlos served as a Senior Banker, Team Leader, and Regional Director of Mexico, Central America and Caribbean markets. He holds a degree in business administration from Universidad Internacional de Catalunya and an MBA from ESADE.



Born and raised in Barcelona Spain, Carlos is fluent in Spanish and English and Catalan. He volunteers his time serving as Treasury director at the Fundacion Amics de la Gent Gran. He also enjoys biking, skiing and futbol.

About Marco Rivera


Contributing to an exceptional overall service experience, Marco Rivera works directly with the team’s clients to address their every-day financial needs. He focuses on building maintaining strong client relationships by efficiently processing request, resolving inquiries, and providing access to firm services and solutions. Marco also provides an extensive range of operational and administrative support services to the team’s Financial Advisors.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Marco worked in a client service capacity at a has worked as a Client Service Associate for various financial institutions, including Bank Leumi, Bank Hapoalim, and Safra National Bank. His ten years of experience in customer service has taught him the importance of going the extra mile for our clients and consistently working to improve their customer experience. Marco Rivera holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses from FINRA.

Marco Rivera is originally from Venezuela and have been living in the United States for over 20 years. Marco Rivera is fluent in both Spanish and English. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two-year-old son, friends, and family.

About Violeta Pavon


Drawing on more than three decades of international banking and wealth management experience, Violeta Pavon is responsible for an extensive variety of operational and administrative responsibilities. Often serving as a first point of contact for clients, Violeta contributes to an outstanding overall service experience by ensuring that all requests are handled promptly and professionally.
Violeta joined Morgan Stanley International Wealth Management in 2020 after seven years at Banco Santander International in Miami. Among her roles, she served as a Relationship Associates Coordinator and Assistant to the Regional Manager for the Mexican Region, where she was in charge of managing a team of thirteen relationship assistants in Miami, Houston and San Diego. Over the course of her international banking career, she has held positions in operations, credit, corporate actions and trading at major international banks, including BNP Paribas, Banco Itau, ABN Amro, Coutts International, EFG Capital and Banco International de Costa Rica. She holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Miami and has studied international banking at the American Institute of Banking.

Born and raised in Nicaragua, Violeta is fluent in Spanish and English. She now lives in Miami, where she enjoys traveling and reading in her free time.

About Antonella Quiroga

I am a Registered Client Services Associate at Morgan Stanley, with over 3 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Morgan Stanley, I worked as a Wealth Management Associate at Bolton Global Capital, where I supported high-net-worth clients and collaborated with advisors to foster business growth. My role centers on ensuring accuracy in trades, funds transfers, and transactions, while building meaningful client relationships.

Originally from Argentina, I moved to Miami 12 years ago, where I’ve been able to merge my passion for client service with a career in finance. I spent 10 years in the hospitality industry, honing my expertise in customer relations—skills that have proven invaluable in wealth management.

I hold active Series 7 & 66 licenses and am currently in my senior year at Florida International University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a minor in Business. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and am a passionate dog lover, as well as a tennis and soccer enthusiast.
