My Story and Services

About Marty Weinberg
With over 15 years of industry experience, Marty is dedicated to helping individuals and families maximize their personal and financial wealth and gain the confidence to reach their goals. His passion for helping others was ignited by watching his mother, Shelley, always put her clients' first while developing deep relationships that went beyond just the numbers during her career as a Financial Advisor. His mother's dedication to her client's well-being and her strong focus on fostering long-term relationships inspired Marty to follow in her footsteps.

Marty is proud to be a part of the Morgan Stanley team, where he provides all his clients with access to personalized advice that is tailored to their specific needs and circumstances. He prides himself on asking thoughtful questions and being a great listener. He believes this leads to intergenerational financial planning with a solutions-driven approach to help clients grow and preserve their wealth.

As a Las Vegas native, Marty places a strong emphasis on giving back to the local community—one he has been a part of over the past 40 years. His local associations include serving on the Executive & Regional Board for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) as well as the national Foundation Board for Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity (AEPi). Marty's past board affiliations include the UNLV Alumni Association, UNLV Foundation and Jewish Nevada. Outside of the office, Marty's passions include spending time with his family – wife, Alana and two young daughters Shoshana and Esti, getting out for a round of golf on a nice day or traveling to somewhere new and exciting.

My Five-Step Process

My wealth management approach focuses on you, your family and your career - where you are today and where you want to go. Working together, we develop the strategies to help you get there, navigating life's challenges and helping you make more informed decisions about your wealth.
    Icon Image
    1. Introductory Call
I begin with an informal conversation to understand your financial concerns and determine how I can add value. If we agree to move forward, I'll schedule our next meeting and request important financial information.
    Icon Image
    2. Discovery Meeting
We continue the dialogue by fostering an in-depth conversation where I learn about the value that shape your decisions and identify any unique circumstances. I also review the documents you've prepared and define your priorities.
    Icon Image
    3. Analysis & Plan Development
Here, I utilize proprietary financial planning tools to develop a personalized and detailed plan with recommendations to help you grow, preserve and transfer your wealth.
    Icon Image
    4. Implementation
In this step, I present appropriate strategies that are designed to work together to achieve your goals. Upon your approval, I open new accounts for you at Morgan Stanley and initiate our investment recommendations. I'll also begin to implement other strategies we've discussed. These often encompass tax minimization strategies, as well as risk management and estate planning techniques.

    5. Ongoing Service
Committed to premium service, I focus on developing a relationship that provides special value to you and your family. As I begin to execute each strategy, I’ll set up tools so you have immediate access to your account information. And because markets and personal needs evolve over time, I set up ongoing meetings to ensure your plan remains on schedule to achieve your goals.

6Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
