My Story and Services

These words are not just industry terms for the financial professional. These words are meant as tools for many investors to analyze, define, and understand their goals, their appetite for risk (none to some), and to analyze if their portfolio construction is meeting those goals.

My experience dates to 1979, when I worked at the venerable firm of Sutro and Co. in downtown San Francisco as a lowly assistant in the smoke-filled cashiers "cage," microfilming and running securities between their Sansome Street office and the vault at what was once the Pacific Stock Exchange (now an Equinox Fitness Center) just a few blocks away.

Long story short, in 1991, I moved to my ancestral roots in Oregon, where my great-grandfather immigrated (or escaped, depending on who is telling the story) from Russia back in 1875. From Oregon, I have settled in Las Vegas, NV, enjoying the year-round sunshine and all the activities (except gambling) that this community offers.

At Morgan Stanley, I deliver the knowledge, attention to detail, and service you expect from a seasoned professional within the robust and prestigious environment of Morgan Stanley.

Well, before COVID-19, I used the efficiency of computer and electronic communication to develop and maintain strong, efficient, and effective client relationships across the country, regardless of my clients' physical location or primary residence.

My career in the financial services industry began in 1979, working in the cashiers "cage" at Sutro & Co. in San Francisco.

In 1980, Sutro & Co. hired me as a Registered Representative "trainee," and I received my securities license in the fall of 1981. I was the youngest person to enter and successfully complete the Sutro & Co. Financial Advisor training program.

Since 1981, I have exhibited the professionalism to navigate through every market cycle, from bull and bear to high and low interest rates, inflationary and deflationary, market "bubbles" and "crashes," significant military conflicts, geo-political instability, and now, the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a Senion Vice President, Portfolio Management Director, and Wealth Advisor, I embrace my role as an advocate for my clients' best interests while working to provide superior service and solutions to help my clients meet their financial goals and objectives.

In my judgment, Morgan Stanley is one of the world's largest and most prestigious diversified financial services companies, with a reputation for excellence in advice and execution on a global scale. Morgan Stanley enhances my ability to fulfill the needs and expectations of my clients.

I ask you to consider the value that I, as an investment professional with 40 years of experience, bring to you as an investor.

5An investment in an exchange-traded fund (ETF) involves risks similar to those of investing in a broadly based portfolio of equity securities traded on exchange in the relevant securities market, such as market fluctuations caused by such factors as economic and political developments, changes in interest rates and perceived trends in stock prices. The investment return and principal value of ETF investments will fluctuate, so that an investor’s ETF shares, if or when sold, may be worth more or less than the original cost.

Investors should carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) before investing. The prospectus contains this and other information about the ETF. To obtain a prospectus, contact your Financial Advisor or visit the ETF company’s website. Please read the prospectus carefully before investing.
