About Leonard Katz

Lenny Katz is a Senior Vice President and Branch Manager for Morgan Stanley. He oversees the Fort Myers. Punta Gorda and Marco Island offices. His responsibilities include helping advisors deliver excellent client service. Lenny is instrumental in helping advisors deliver Morgan Stanley’s the vast resources to their clients while maintaining the intimacy of client advisor relationship. Daily, Lenny collaborates with the various departments that support the business which include Business Development, Recruiting, Service, Risk, Human Resources, and Legal.

Prior to his Branch Manager promotion in 2025, Lenny served as the Associate Market Manager and Business Development Manager for Southwest Florida, overseeing sales and asset growth for 8 branches across the west coast of Florida. Simultaneously, he led the Financial Advisor Associate and Wealth Advisor Associate sourcing, hiring, and development. Throughout his tenure as BDM, Lenny focused on raising the bar on financial acumen throughout the territory by emphasizing the importance of Financial Planning, Teaming, UHNW Solutions (FOR), and Alternative Investments.

Lenny started his career as a Financial Advisor in 1997 by joining Smith Barney. As a Financial Advisor Associate, Lenny achieved Blue Chip Status ranking him as a top tier associate nationally. In 2009, Lenny transitioned to Morgan Stanley from UBS.

When not in the office, Lenny enjoys giving back to his community. He has served on numerous non-profit and civic boards, including 26 years on the Boys and Girl Club of Lee County Board. During that time Lenny served a two year term as President of the Boys and Girls Club, where he was awarded the National Service to Youth Award. Lenny is currently the Chairman of the Aiming for Ability Sporting Clay’s event benefiting LARC of Lee County.

Lenny enjoys life in Cape Coral, Florida and the ability to get away in his new camper with his wife of 26 years, Angela. He also has three adult daughters Ashley, Taylor, Kinsey, and three grandsons Liam, Logan and Ledger. He holds a BS. in Finance from the University of Central Florida.

About Brian Francis

Brian is a Risk Officer for the Southwest Florida Market. Brian has been with Morgan Stanley since 2024 and in the financial services industry since 2012. Being a Massachusetts native originally, Brian moved to Florida with his wife in 2020. Prior to moving to Florida, he was also a Risk Officer in the Silicon Valley Market in California.

Brian received his degree in HR Management from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and his MBA from Suffolk University. He holds his Series 7, 9, 10, 24, and 66 Licenses.

Brian lives in Estero, FL with his wife and is a big Boston sports fan, an avid traveler, a team trivia champion, and has been known to sing a karaoke song or two.
