Marcie Behman is the founder of the Behman Group at Morgan Stanley. She advises a select group of ultra-affluent clients, addressing the intricacies and challenges in managing, growing, and transferring wealth effectively. She has great talent in developing and managing an overall strategic plan for each of her client’s wealth.

As a nationally recognized Private Wealth Advisor, Marcie provides an in-depth analysis for clients with complex circumstances, integrating a wide network of resources to advance their objectives. She is particularly adept in advising Section 16 officers and venture capital partners on 1202 Small Business Stock Gain Exclusions and 10B5-1 Selling Plans. She is closely attuned to her clients’ vision and purpose for their wealth, distilling a family’s long-term goals and aspirations.

Since 2008, Marcie has been recognized as a top advisor by several industry publications and a featured recipient on several occasions. This level of recognition speaks to her deep commitment to excellence and a practice designed to distinguish herself from the competition.

Marcie holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accounting, concentrated in Taxation, from the University of Florida. She currently lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and is the mother of four boys. She enjoys playing the piano and sharing the musical talents of her sons, as well as playing golf and skiing. She serves on the Board of Furnishing Hope Massachusetts, and is a former Board Member of the Copley Society of Art.

Meet My Team

About Mary Chase

Mary originally joined The Behman Group in 2007, and currently serves as a PWM Registered CSA on the team. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mary spent 25 years at Merrill Lynch, and has taken on progressive roles throughout her career. In her current role, Mary is responsible for the trading and execution of concentrated stock strategies and portfolio updates. She focuses on executing 10b5-1 selling plans and Section 16/Rule 144 reporting requirements. Mary holds her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Colorado State University, and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and son. Mary passionately supports and volunteers for the Union County Christmas Bureau. Outside of work, she also enjoys swimming, traveling, and playing golf.

About Owen Murray

Owen Murray joined The Behman Group in April of 2020 and currently serves as the team’s PWM Investment Consultant | Portfolio Manager Specialist. Prior to joining the group, Owen spent five years at MFS Investment Management in Boston.

Owen brings a vast knowledge of the markets, economics, and portfolio construction to the team. In his role, he supports clients with all aspects of their investment portfolio and strategy, spanning from macro asset allocation across traditional and alternative assets to individual security selection. He also facilitates the investment allocation process by gathering, comparing, analyzing, and communicating investment research data, both internally and to clients of the group.

Owen graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance where he was the recipient of the H. Hiter Harris Scholarship for Excellence in Economics. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, playing golf, hunting, and fishing.

About Colleen Howard

Colleen Howard joined the Behman Group in January 2022 and serves as the team’s PWM Business Development Associate. Prior to joining the team, Colleen covered the Greater Boston area as a Regional Sales Representative for MFS Investment Management.

Colleen assists in a wide range of administrative requests, while striving to deliver proactive and personalized service. She brings a vast knowledge of the financial services industry to her role and is a critical point of contacts for the team’s client base.

Colleen holds her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley University, and she holds her Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses. A native of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Colleen currently resides in Portland, Maine, with her husband, Garrett, and she works out of both the Portland and Middleton, Massachusetts, offices. While not in the office, Colleen enjoys spending time with her loved ones, trying new restaurants, playing pickleball, and running.

About Domenic Setaro

Domenic Setaro is an Assistant Vice President and Director of Marketing and Communications at Morgan Stanley, where he spearheads the recruiting, outreach, and practice optimization efforts of the Behman Group in Middleton, Massachusetts. He first joined Morgan Stanley in 2020 as a Team Lead on the Virtual Engagement Associate Desk in Purchase, New York, where he coached and trained hundreds of analysts and was instrumental in the program’s growth and development. He then went to work on the management teams for the Firm’s Coastal and Southern New England markets, where he helped Advisors across New York and New England with the usage and implementation of Morgan Stanley’s digital resources into their practices.

Prior to joining the Firm, Domenic worked in marketing management for both the Italian Language Foundation and the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce. He graduated cum laude from Fordham University, with degrees in International Political Economy and Romance Languages and minors in Middle Eastern Studies and Theology, and he holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Dom currently resides in Boston and recently moved to the area from Wolcott, Connecticut. He spent many years of his life living in Italy and goes back as often as he can. Outside of work, Domenic is a foreign language tutor on the side and enjoys traveling, playing piano, and playing tennis in his free time. He speaks eight languages and has traveled to 47 states and 32 countries.

About Kevin Joos

Kevin Joos joined the Behman Group at Morgan Stanley in Middleton, Massachusetts, in May 2023 as a PWM Registered Client Service Associate, where he covers a variety of administrative tasks for the teams and its clients. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked at John Hancock as a Consolidation Specialist, where he predominantly helped clients with 401(k) rollover transactions. Since entering the industry in 2022, Kevin has obtained a number of professional licenses. He has acquired his Series 6, 7, 63, and 65.

Kevin graduated from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, with a dual degree in Finance and Economics. He currently lives in Reading, Massachusetts, and while not in the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and following Boston sports, especially the Celtics. He has recently taken up golf and has been determined to improve his game, taking advantage of any chance to get out on the course.

About Billy Behman

Billy Behman joined The Behman Group at Morgan Stanley in November of 2021 as a PWM Client Service Associate to assist with client accounts along with managing the online portal and internal team projects.

Billy brings both a creative and technical skillset to the team. His academic career covered two years of Physics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a degree in Creative Writing from Emerson College. Post-graduation, Billy earned a certificate from the University of Pennsylvania Coding Bootcamp program.

Billy currently resides in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Outside of work, he enjoys playing piano. In his free time, he codes his own games to play with his family and friends.
