About Alejandro J. Malespin
Based in New York, Alejandro Malespin has accumulated 22 years of wide ranging experience in the financial industry, including investment banking, asset management and private banking. For more than a decade, he has concentrated on clients in Mexico and Central America, advising some of the most important families and groups in the region. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, Alejandro served as a Private Banker and Managing Director at Credit Suisse and worked for 15 years at JPMorgan. He holds an MBA from Harvard University, and a B.S. Cum Laude in economics from Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
Alejandro resides in Rye, NY, with his wife, Joanna, and their two sons. He is active in philanthropic activities in his native Nicaragua and serves on the board of the Friends of the Ixchel Museum of Guatemala. In his free time, Alejandro enjoys playing golf and outdoor sports.
