My Story and Services

At Morgan Stanley I use comprehensive cutting-edge financial strategies to serve the financial needs of a broad range of clients. The services I offer cover many aspects of family wealth management, including cost-efficient investment portfolios, retirement planning, mortgages, education planning, aging parent issues, assisted living care, legacy, estate planning and trust services. Because all clients view their finances in a unique way, the guidance I offer is individually tailored. Our discussion boils down to one question: what is the purpose of your money?

I proudly joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. I was previously a Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch for seven years, and before that at Ameriprise for three years. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, CFP® which informs my wealth management philosophy. I invest for the long term with a highly disciplined focus on asset allocation, diversification and prudent rebalancing.

Regardless of where my clients are in life, I focus on their needs within the context of recent events, and act as a resource for solving all financial questions related to work and retirement, education planning, living situation and lifestyle. For every client, I make a comprehensive financial plan that incorporates cost-efficient portfolio strategies and gives clients a reassuring picture of their possible financial trajectory. I am always available to consult with a client’s legal and taxation professionals to provide an integrated experience and simplify my client’s lives.

I am a graduate of Bowdoin College and did my financial planning certification at New York University’s Center for Finance, Law and Taxation. I volunteer for Savvy Ladies, an organization which provides free financial consulting for women at risk. I also have led seminars both live and online for women going through divorce, through support organizations such as Untied, and Support and Solutions for Women. During the pandemic I became a New York State Emergency Medical Technician, and am learning to play the guitar. I raised three children as a single mother and live in Briarciff Manor, New York.

Women & Wealth

It has been my honor and privilege to provide guidance on the unique challenges women face when building a foundation for a financially successful life. Over half of my clients are women, and I am often referred by various professionals—including attorneys, accountants, and my own clients—to their clients, friends, and family.

There are several factors that disproportionately impact women when it comes to lifelong financial planning. Time out of the workforce to care for children or aging parents can cause decreases or lapses in retirement contributions, as well as affect career trajectories and income. Divorce can be financially devastating, requiring a complete refresh of the financial plan. Women continue to earn less than men, on average, which in turn affects all of these life transitions. To cap it off, women generally live longer than men, so their resources need to last longer.

It is no wonder that women often feel anxious about financial matters. Shining a light on one’s financial status is the starting point for creating a financial roadmap. I meet with women from all backgrounds to review current accounts and resources and develop a financial plan template. This includes mapping out retirement contributions and major purchases and expenditures, such as home purchases, college tuition, weddings, charitable contributions, and leaving a legacy for children. We also plan out how divorce settlements can be utilized over time for continuous support, and how potential inheritances can enhance retirement outcomes if invested carefully. The financial plan can serve as a guide to help keep savings and investments on track. Perhaps most importantly, we use it to calculate optimal retirement withdrawals, incorporating inflation estimates and the impact of potentially lower-than-expected market returns. We meet regularly to update the plan as needed when life events arise, as they inevitably do.

My training as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional (CFP®) has been essential to building these financial plans for clients, giving me a foundation in investments and portfolio construction, retirement plans, insurance, and Trusts and Estates. I take time to understand your investment risk tolerance and time horizon—key components that inform how we will allocate your investments to work toward your goals. I’m fortunate to work at Morgan Stanley and to leverage the vast resources of this exceptional firm to build investment portfolios that serve my clients.

Finally, my own experience as a single mom of three young adult children informs my approach with clients. I understand the challenges of trying to build a solid financial foundation and make smart decisions while juggling a host of other responsibilities. I bring a spirit of compassion and collaboration to my client relationships, which builds trust and provides peace of mind.

    Women and Philanthropy
Women are poised to change the face of philanthropy. Currently, women control one-third of all U.S. household financial assets, and the power of their purses is expected to increase as they inherit much of the $30 trillion in assets that will be passed down to baby boomers by 2030. Since women often play key roles in educating other family members in giving, their philanthropic influence may extend far beyond their individual efforts.

My Clients

As a financial advisor, I partner with clients who seek more than just financial advice. My clients desire an advisor that comprehensively understands their lives, goals, and challenges at every stage. Building trust and creating deep, meaningful relationships is at the core of my practice, allowing me to provide the personalized support my clients need.

Who I Serve
I serve individuals, couples and families who want clear guidance and a disciplined strategy for building, managing and preserving wealth over time. My clients often include:

  • Pre-retirees and retirees seeking confident decisions around retirement income, Social Security timing, and lifestyle planning.
  • Families managing multiple priorities, such as education funding, mortgage decisions, and long-term financial security.
  • Clients navigating life transitions, including career changes, relocation, changes in family dynamics, divorce, or major financial events.
  • Those planning for multigenerational needs, including aging parent considerations, long-term care planning, and legacy goals.
  • Clients who value coordination with their attorney and tax professionals to keep decisions aligned and reduce complexity.

How I Work
My process is designed to be comprehensive, personalized and practical—so you can make informed decisions with a plan you understand.

  • Start with purpose. We begin by clarifying what matters most to you and answering one central question: what is the purpose of your money?
  • Build a full financial picture. I develop a comprehensive financial plan that connects your goals to your cash flow, balance sheet, investments, risk management and long-term priorities.
  • Implement an investment strategy with discipline. I focus on long-term investing with an emphasis on asset allocation, diversification, and prudent rebalancing, using cost-efficient portfolio strategies where appropriate.
  • Coordinate the moving parts. When helpful, I collaborate with your legal and tax professionals to create a more integrated experience—so planning decisions work together rather than in silos.
  • Stay engaged over time. As markets change and life evolves, we revisit assumptions, refine priorities, and adjust the plan to keep you on track.
