Lou has over 30 years of Wall Street industry experience and has developed a sophisticated understanding of complex financial markets and investment strategies.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Lou spent 18 years at UBS in New York City, where he worked on the institutional side of the business working closely with activist and event-driven hedge funds. This unique background provided him with distinctive insights into investment strategies and market dynamics that continue to benefit his clients today.

Lou has been a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley for nearly a decade, where he has built a wealth management practice that takes great pride in developing thoughtful, comprehensive solutions tailored to his clients’ financial objectives and goals.

He leads a dedicated team that includes Financial Advisor Patricia Tyler and Registered Client Service Associate Aaron Smith, helping ensure clients receive attentive service and skilled guidance at every step of their financial journey.

His comprehensive approach emphasizes financial planning, risk management, and tax efficient strategies while leveraging Alternative Investments to help eligible clients manage risk, increase diversification, optimize returns and ultimately achieve their financial goals.

Today, Lou’s practice serves high-net-worth individuals, including many Hedge Fund principals and analysts from his previous institutional relationships, Family Offices, Wall Street executives and entrepreneurs.

Lou is a graduate of George Washington University with a degree in Finance. He also has his Master’s in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), establishing a strong foundation for his distinguished career in financial services.

In his free time, Lou enjoys walking along Florida’s beautiful beaches, traveling to new destinations, and spending quality time with his two children, Zack and Aerin, and his dog, Cosmo.

Patricia began her career as an equity research analyst before transitioning into private banking, where she built a strong foundation in client advisory and investment strategy. After many years in the financial industry, she has now reunited with Lou as part of his team, bringing her deep expertise and global perspective to the role.

Patricia holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, reflecting her commitment to continued professional growth and excellence in alternative investments.

Having grown up in Latin America, Patricia is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. She now resides in South Florida, where she enjoys the warm weather and spending time with friends and family.

Aaron has been working in the financial industry since 2021. He worked in private equity at a boutique firm in Fort Lauderdale before joining Morgan Stanley in August 2022.

Aaron was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Southern California. He graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelors in Political Science, before finding his passion in finance.

Aaron moved to South Florida, where he enjoys the beach, sports and spending time with his family and two dogs.

About John Fanning

John Fanning is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Florida.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

John began his career in financial services in 1992, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2010 as a Financial Advisor. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Commercial Banker at SunTrust Bank (now Truist Bank) and Bank United. He also also served as a Finance Manager at Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services.

John is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his family. Outside of the office, John enjoys coaching and watching his sons excel in sports, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on all South Florida sports team.

About Leticia Teixeira

Leticia Teixeira is a first vice president and senior financial planning director serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in Southeast Florida. She is responsible for helping Financial Advisors’ clients and prospects with their financial planning needs.

Leticia began her career in financial services in 2011 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2020. Prior to her current position, she worked at multiple financial services firms in Florida including RBC, Itaú and UBS.

Leticia graduated from Florida International University with a BA in Psychology and obtained an MBA in Organizational Management from Carlos Albizu University. She holds her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designations.

Outside of work, Leticia enjoys practicing her photography skills, family trips and volunteering at school activities. Leticia is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and she is fluent in English and Portuguese, and conversational in Spanish. She currently lives in Broward, FL with her husband and two children.
