My Story

For more than two decades, Lisa has been focused on the wealth management needs of clients. Her expansive industry knowledge and experience as a former commercial lender, private banker, and regional manager provide a powerful framework for her current role as a financial advisor. She works with clients to identify their primary goals in the area of cash management, risk management and investment management and commits herself to developing strategies to help clients pursue desired outcomes. Services include wealth planning, retirement planning, liability management, insurance planning, education planning, charitable gifting and tax and estate planning in coordination with your accounting professional or attorney.

Lisa began her career in financial services in 1988 as a commercial lender and private banker with SunTrust Banks, where she provided concierge banking services to executives and business owners. In 1997, she became a financial advisor with Smith Barney, where, in 2000, she was selected to join the management team of the largest branch in the Southeast, giving her exposure to and oversight responsibility for more than 100 advisors. She spent a decade in management, most recently as a regional manager for Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Advisors) in Atlanta. Lisa has been recognized in various publications, including Atlanta Magazine as a 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 "FIVE STAR Wealth Manager."

5Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
