Our robust and talented team is dedicated to helping clients achieve and maintain financial independence so they can pursue what’s most important to them. Whether seeking estate and retirement planning, portfolio management, or risk management, we offer extensive capability with caring service and financial clarity, backed by the resources of a top global investment firm. Our consultative process begins with an in-depth discussion of your current finances and future objectives. We use these to guide each client toward a data-driven strategic plan in which we evaluate portfolios and provide solutions. We also offer transitional counseling, working with generations of families to help ensure continuity of wealth, legacy planning, and access to resources both within and outside of Morgan Stanley to meet complex needs. We are particularly sensitive to helping higher net worth clients, and move beyond performance by maintaining regular meetings and portfolio reviews to keep us abreast of any changes or challenges, constantly tracking these against each client’s goals. We also work with a network of highly regarded attorneys and CPAs within the Anchorage market, to provide even more comprehensive service and greater access to resources for our clients.

    Ian McCormick is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Oregon.

    Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

    Ian began his career in financial services in 2011, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Director of Business Development at Fort West. He also served as a Production Manager-Loan Officer at Churchill Mortgage.

    Ian is a graduate of Oregon State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his family. Outside of the office, Ian enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing and rafting.
