Meet Lechner Altieri McMahon
About John Lechner
John brings more than three decades of experience to serving the team’s clients. After graduating from Harvard College with a B.A. in economics and All-American honors in lacrosse, John began his financial services career at Kidder Peabody in 1980. He moved to Alex Brown & Sons in 1985, where he spent the next 24 years building his practices while the firm underwent a series of mergers. John joined Morgan Stanley in 2009.
John most recently served as a trustee of St. Paul’s School and is active in many charities focused on education. As the first person in his family to complete high school and graduate from college, he demonstrates a deep commitment to education initiatives.

About Nicholas Altieri
Nick graduated from St. John’s University with a B.S. in accounting and continued on to earn a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. After graduating, he joined the trusts and estates department of KMZ Rosenman. In 2004, Nick moved to Morgan Stanley, where he was responsible for the tax, trust and estate planning effort within Private Wealth Management’s Wealth Strategies Group. He joined John Lechner and Terry McMahon in 2015.
As the children of Italian immigrants, Nick and his wife, Annalisa, appreciate the importance of family values and traditions. Nick seeks to pass on his family’s roots by making homemade wine with his three sons and endeavoring to maintain their fluency in Italian.

About Terrence Michael McMahon
Terry graduated from Bentley College with a B.S. in accountancy and went to work as a CPA at Deloitte & Touche. He moved on to become CIO of Pillar Financial Advisors in 2004 and later went to Deutsche Bank before ultimately joining Morgan Stanley in 2009. In addition to earning his Certified Public Accountant license (non-practicing), Terry is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
Terry directs his charitable efforts toward groups that assist underprivileged communities and promote education, including the Lend a Hand Society, the Bentley Executive Club and Lazarus House. In addition, he has established a scholarship at his former high school in the name of his first accounting teacher, who encouraged him to pursue the study of accounting that ultimately shaped the trajectory of his career.

About Duncan Lechner
Duncan graduated with honors from Harvard University in Social Studies. His thesis was titled “The Puzzle of Administrative Law: Reconciling Liberty and Necessity in a Post-Gundy World”. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Duncan worked at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP
Duncan is an Associate Board member of George Jackson Academy, New York City's only independent middle school for academically talented boys from families of all incomes. In his free time, he is an avid golfer, book club member, and die-hard Boston sports fan.

About Hillary Ferrante
A graduate of Bucknell University with a B.S. in economics, Hillary began her financial services career at JP Morgan in 1999 as a client liaison for Nuveen. She moved to Goldman Sachs in 2001 as a client service associate, where she spent three years before joining Morgan Stanley in 2004.
Hillary honed her skills in the financial field through everyday communication with clients at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs. At Morgan Stanley, she works closely with client’s strategic partners and support teams to ensure all daily financial and operational needs are met.
About Peter Motta
Peter graduated with a B.S. in business administration from Emmanuel College and began his financial career at Seaman’s Capital Management as an operations specialist. He joined the team at Morgan Stanley in 2013 and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) designation.
Peter served as a coach of the U.S. Junior National Luge Team from 2003 to 2010. Due to the high-speed, precision-based nature of his sport, Peter has developed a keen attention to detail and a heightened ability to focus.
About Chris D'Ambrosio
After graduating from Merrimack College with a B.A. in English, Chris joined MFS Investment Management as a marketing associate. He moved on to become a vice president of equity trading at Moors & Cabot in 1993 and then a director of equity trading at Janney in 2008. He joined the team at Morgan Stanley in 2010.
You might say trading is in Chris’ blood. His father, a former trader and president of the Boston Securities Traders Association, introduced him to trading at a young age. They later worked side by side for fourteen years. Chris has been a member of the BSTA, as well as the Market Technicians Association. He is an avid supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project, The Asperger/Autism Network, and the Northeast Animal Shelter.
About Andrea Scola
Andrea graduated from New York University with a BA in Art History and attended NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2000, she was an Associate Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch and has held other positions in financial services and private industry.
Andrea has served as a volunteer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 18 years. She enjoys travel, restaurants, cooking, Pilates and bicycling around New York City where she lives.
About Clay Felice
Clay started his career in Old Saybrook, CT working for Raymond James before moving to Boston and joining UBS in 2022. He then joined the team at Morgan Stanley in May of 2024. He has a passion for client service and always seeks to provide the best client experience possible. Clay graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut and is currently working on his MBA at Boston College.
Clay is an avid fly fisherman and fitness enthusiast, he enjoys exploring rivers in New England looking for his next catch. Additionally, he is a pet owner of two beautiful dogs; Delilah the Golden Retriever and Griffey the Siberian Husky.
