My Story

I grew up in a lower-middle class family where building wealth seemed unattainable. I was introduced to investing as a teenager and immediately realized just how much control I could have over my financial future. I knew from an early age that I wanted to become a Financial Advisor so that I could help others find their own financial independence and security. I attended Edgewood College where I majored in Business Finance and Economics and received my MBA from the University of Wisconsin. Subsequently, I have earned the highly sought-after professional designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER that allows me to bring a higher level of advice to my clients while holding me to a strict code of ethics.

I began my career in 1996 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2013 and now have more than 28 years of experience in developing comprehensive financial plans focusing on retirement and income planning strategies for affluent individuals and families. Over that time, I have guided many clients through a myriad of economic and market conditions and due to the planning process in place, I have been able to help deliver many of them to successful outcomes. The favorite part of my job is hearing the relief in my clients’ voices when they know they have been provided the roadmap to success and that I will be there for them along the way.

Morgan Stanley’s core values of always do the right thing, put clients first, lead with exceptional ideas, commit to diversity and inclusion, and give back couldn’t be more aligned with my own. As a wife and mother of two young daughters, raising the next generation of strong young women is very important to me. I dedicate hundreds of hours volunteering with the Girl Scouts and coaching my daughter's basketball team. In my free time, my husband Jason and I love taking our girls downhill skiing and spending time at our family's Northern Wisconsin cabin, fishing and water skiing.

Giving Back

I'm a girl power advocate and love using my free time to teach, encourage and uplift the next generation of girls to be the best humans they can be. Giving back is extremely important to me and I spend much of my free time volunteering.
    Girl Scouts
A girl power advocate, I previously created a 5K mud run to raise money and awareness for Girl Scouts. Nearly 1,000 women participated in the inaugural event earning $30,000 for the Wisconsin Badgerland Girl Scout Council. I served as a member of the Finance Committee for over 10 years and joined the Girls Scouts of Badgerland's Board of Directors, currently serving my second term. I have led the Leadership Development Committee and I now serve as Secretary for the Board and on the Executive Committee. I am also in my 7th year of serving as a Troop Leader.
    Salvation Army
From 2015 to 2023 I served as a Board Member for the Salvation Army Advisory Board. I began volunteering to help address the broader problem of homelessness in my community. I have chaired the Community Relations and Development Committee, served as Co-Chair of the Red Kettle Reception, helped create a Lip Sync Battle to raise funds and served on the Strategic Planning team. I also help to organize bell ringing volunteers, shampoo and towel drives and delivery of bedding and diapers for the Women’s Shelter and Holly House, programs through the Salvation Army to help families get back on their feet.
    Youth Volunteering
I grew up playing basketball and am happy to share that knowledge and expertise as head coach for the 4th year. Learning to play a team sport is a vital part of growing up and learning important skills of communication, dedication, time management, perseverance, hard work and so much more! I’ve been honored to help shape the lives of young girls who have called me “Coach”.
National Diversity and Inclusion Council Member
I served a two-year term from January 2022 to January of 2024 as a member of Morgan Stanley's National Diversity and Inclusion Council. The council works to promote a more fair and equitable work environment for those who may be overlooked or under appreciated.

14Alternative Investments are speculative and include a high degree of risk. An investor could lose all or a substantial amount of his/her investment. Alternative investments are appropriate only for qualified, long-term investors who are willing to forgo liquidity and put capital at risk for an indefinite period of time.

15The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.

16Structured Investments are complex and not appropriate for all investors. An investment in structured investments involves risks. These risks can include but are not limited to: fluctuations in the price, level or yield of underlying asset(s), interest rates, currency values and credit quality, substantial loss of principal, limits on participation in appreciation of underlying asset(s), limited liquidity, credit risk, and/or conflicts of interest. Many structured investments do not pay interest or guarantee a return above principal at maturity. Investors should read the security’s offering documentation prior to making an investment decision.
