My Story and Services

Larry brings 38 years of investment experience to Graystone Consulting. Prior to joining Graystone, Larry was a Senior Institutional Consultant at UBS Financial Services and sat on the Advisory Council for the Institutional Consulting Group. Before that he was the co-head of Lehman Brothers Retirement Plan Consulting unit. He has spoken numerous times at national forums about stable value investments.

Larry holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA). By holding both the CFA and AIFA analyst designations , Larry has a strong combination of skills and knowledge in investment analysis, portfolio management, and fiduciary responsibilities.

He graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Economics and has an MBA from the University of Southern California. He and his wife and three children live in the mountains outside Lake Tahoe.

About Bryan N. Mountain

Bryan joined Morgan Stanley in 2014. Previously working at UBS for over 13 years, Bryan's experience is in retirement planning for high net worth clients. He has earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation from the College for Financial Planning. Bryan attended CSU San Bernardino before moving to the Los Angeles area. He is active in the community and has volunteered for several charitable organizations. On Wall Street featured him amongst The Top 40 Advisors under 40 in 2011 and 2012. Financial Times listed Bryan amongst the top advisors in 2013. In his spare time Bryan enjoys swimming, cycling, and running as he trains for his next Ironman triathlon.

About Marc Roggenkamp

Marc joined Graystone Consulting Group in January 2014. He has over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Marc was a Senior Institutional Consultants at UBS Financial Services. He has also previously worked at Lehman Brothers (2002-2005) and was a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte & Touche (1996-2000), specializing in financial service industry clients and ERISA retirement plan audits. He graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Sociology and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He also attended the Marshall Graduate School of Business at the University of Southern California, where he co-managed a multi-million dollar scholarship endowment and graduated with honors. Marc is a current member of Morgan Stanley’s strategic retirement practice group, a dedicated group of 13 investment consultant professionals who service large and mega sized plan sponsors.

Marc lives in Cheviot Hills, a small community in the West Los Angeles area, with his wife and daughter. He previously served as President of the Cheviot Hills Home Owners Association and as a board Member for a Westside not-for-profit benefiting Home Owners' interests in West Los Angeles. In his free time, Marc enjoys creative outlets such as woodworking, landscape / gardening, and art.

About Chris Venuti

Chris brings 31 years of investment experience to Graystone Consulting. Chris has grown up in the Retirement plans industry and has been a thought leader through the years, serving on many advisory boards both at Morgan Stanley, and with various industry groups. He is often seen as a speaker at Retirement plan industry conferences.

Prior to joining Graystone, Chris was a Senior Institutional Consultant at UBS Financial Services and was a member of the Investment Committee for UBS's own 401(k) and defined benefit plans. He holds the Chartered Investment Management Association (CIMA®) designation. In the early 90's Chris was the host of the Morning Market Call on KWHY and was a Theater major at SUNY Fredonia. Chris conducts many educational webinars for our clients and enjoys teaching participants retirement planning concepts.

Chris has coached many sports teams through the years, is a regular cantor at St. Mel Catholic Church, and currently serves on the Finance Council in Woodland Hills where he and his family live. He is an avid player and collector of board games, and can be seen at conventions always willing to play another round. His son Dylan is a new member of the Graystone Los Angeles- Pacific Rim team having just passed his Series 7 and 65.
