ABOUT THE LAMCHICK EPSTEIN GROUP

Mitchell J. Lamchick, CFP®, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, and Michael S. Epstein, First Vice President, Financial Advisor, bring a rare combination of planning depth, investment experience, and estate and tax oriented perspective to Morgan Stanley. Joining the firm in 2026 after building long-standing practices, they formed their team around a simple belief: clients deserve advice that is coordinated, proactive, and grounded in what matters most to them—not just today, but across every stage of life. Mitch’s decades of experience in comprehensive financial planning and investment management pairs naturally with Mike’s multidisciplinary background in trusts, estates, and taxation from his earlier legal career. Together, they help clients connect the dots between goals, family priorities, and long-term legacy plans—turning complex decisions into clear, actionable strategies.

The team serves a diverse client base, including business owners, professionals, executives, and families with complex financial needs. For business owners, this includes aligning personal and business finances, preparing for liquidity events, and supporting long-term growth and independence. For professionals and executives, the focus includes tax-aware planning, investment management, retirement readiness, and coordination around equity, cash flow, and evolving compensation. During periods of family transition including divorce, inheritance, and other major life events, the team provides structured guidance to help clients evaluate options, understand tradeoffs, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

The team distinguishes itself through both technical expertise and a client-first approach, supported by a disciplined planning process and ongoing guidance. They begin by understanding each client’s priorities, objectives, and concerns, then develop coordinated strategies across areas such as retirement planning, investment management, education funding, insurance, tax efficiency, and estate considerations. As circumstances evolve, the team remains actively engaged, helping clients make informed, proactive decisions. The result is a long-term partnership that brings structure to complexity, confidence to decision-making, and continuity to financial planning.

This is a team built for clients who want more than a portfolio—they want a trusted advisory relationship and a steady resource through life’s transitions. Whether you are building wealth, protecting what you’ve earned, preparing for retirement, supporting loved ones, or planning for the next generation, Mitch, Mike, and their team aim to deliver the clarity, coordination, and follow-through that helps clients move forward with purpose.

About Me

Michael S. Epstein, First Vice President, Financial Advisor, brings a client-first mindset and a multidisciplinary background to Morgan Stanley, joining the firm in 2026 after building his practice in wealth management and estate-related planning at Raymond James for over seven years. Before entering the financial services industry, Mike began his career as an attorney in New York and Miami, where he advised individuals and families and developed deep experience in trusts, estates, and tax considerations. Mike is passionate about building enduring relationships and serving as a steady resource through life’s transitions—whether clients are accumulating wealth, preparing for retirement, supporting loved ones, or planning for the next generation. 10Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan's investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan's flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan's investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state's own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state's tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information.
