Source: Barron's.com (May 2024) 2024 Barron's Top 250 Private Wealth Management Teams awarded in 2024. The teams are ranked on a variety of factors, including their size and shape, their regulatory records and credentials of their members, and the resources they have at their disposal to serve their client bases. The rankings are meant as a starting point for clients looking for an advisor—a first-pass vetting that can help investors narrow a search. Every advisor will have his or her own approach to investing, financial planning, and other services. Clients are encouraged to approach a search for an advisor the way they would a search for a doctor—interviewing multiple professionals and getting opinions from multiple third parties. Rankings are based on the opinions of Barron's and this ranking may not be representative of any one client’s experience. This ranking is not indicative of the Financial Advisor’s future performance. Our proprietary approach to wealth management is based on pioneering research in risk allocations conducted by Dr. Ashvin Chhabra, CIO of the Institute of Advanced Study at Princeton University. Encompassing your entire balance sheet, it is designed to help you create a portfolio that accurately reflects your specific goals, lifestyle expectations, cash flow needs and legacy objectives. It encompasses four core components, each focusing on a different time horizon and containing different types of assets:

LIQUID ASSETS The highly liquid assets needed to meet spending needs over the coming one to three years.

INCOME ASSETS Assets that are managed to meet expenses five to ten years out.

GROWTH ASSETS Assets that are managed with a view toward meeting expenses 10+ years out, adjusted for personal risk tolerance.

EXTRAORDINARY ASSETS The management of assets that do not necessarily align with the need to pay for current or future expenses. As we work together, we will make continual adjustments so that your investment strategy remains current with your evolving aspirations, responsibilities and passions

Over the course of our careers, we have facilitated the sales of privately held businesses in multiple industries totaling more than $1.3 billion in value. Most of these engagements were initiated when the owners of these enterprises were in the early stages of considering how to monetize their businesses, pass them to younger generations, or some combination of the two. Combining our own experience with resources of our firm and our investment banking strategic partners, we formed a collaborative team to guide our clients through every stage of their exit strategies, from legal and tax issues to transaction execution and post-liquidity planning. We pay equal attention to the emotional and interpersonal aspects of business transition, often calling in experts in family dynamics for perspective on how to enhance family harmony and unity through the transition.
