Working With You
Before we engage, I want to fully understand who you are as a person, as well as an investor. The planning process begins with in-depth conversations in which we'll take inventory of your finances. Equally important, I want to know about your key goals and the efforts you have made toward achieving them. I will take the time necessary to learn about your specific situation and identify the key areas where we can help improve and sustain your future. Your plan will provide you with an idea of where you are relative to your goals and what you need to do to reach them.
Central to the planning process is an assessment of your risk tolerance and development of an investment strategy that is customized to meet your unique circumstances, values, timeframe and objectives. It's critical to your success that we are smart with your money. I will always strive to design and maintain for you, long- term, diversified strategies that seek out the most cost (and tax) efficient, high value money-management solutions.
Beyond financial planning and managing your investments, I will work closely with your legal and tax advisors to optimize the strategies recommended by your plan. These may involve:
- Establishing trusts and refining your estate plan to help minimize taxes and avoid family conflict
- Meeting unforeseen healthcare and other expenses during retirement
- Reducing debt or using it strategically to help meet specific goals
- Managing low cost-basis assets to help mitigate tax consequences
