My Story
Kurt Kennedy is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley in San Luis Obispo. He provides comprehensive financial planning with institutional wealth management solutions to individual investors. He works with clients, who for various reasons, suddenly have a large sum of money and are in need of a financial coach. Kurt primarily focuses on wealth preservation; he wants his clients to reap the rewards of their lifetime of hard work

Kurt has been in the financial industry since 1984 and has owned and operated several successful businesses throughout the years. He is one of the few advisers that has the unique combination of wealth management skills paired with lifetime of practical business experience tied together with a robust educational background.

He graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota. He continually pursued higher education, obtaining an executive MBA certificate from the University of Notre Dame, a Masters of Business Administration from Taft University and a Social Sector Leadership Certificate from UC Berkeley

Kurt is involved in his community and is an active member of San Luis Obispo Country Club. As a former University of Minnesota Evans Scholar, Kurt is very active in the Southern California Evans Scholar Alumni Association. Kurt is currently funding the building of a Medical Center in rural Kenya that will serve the medical needs of over 5,000 people who do not have access to modern medical care. When Kurt is not in the office, he enjoys hosting private dinners pairing wild game with fine local wines, playing a round of golf with friends, reading a classic book or writing his next hit song for Clinton Steel.
