About Rusty Clark

Rusty Clark is an Executive Director and Market Executive at Morgan Stanley, where he oversees the Ohio Valley Market, covering Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus. With over three decades of experience in financial services, Rusty has built his career on empowering financial advisors to harness their full potential and the firm’s vast resources in service of their clients.

With a deep passion for mentorship, Rusty centers his leadership approach on building trust, fostering collaboration, and supporting professional and personal growth. As a former National Trainer at Merrill Lynch, he discovered his love for teaching and guiding advisors, a mission he continues in his current role. Whether it’s helping advisors expand their knowledge or leverage Morgan Stanley’s global capabilities, Rusty works day in and day out to help his team achieve extraordinary results.

A graduate of West Virginia State University, Rusty began his career as a Financial Advisor and Producing Manager with Merrill Lynch, where his hands-on experience continues to shape his leadership style today. In 1998, he joined Morgan Stanley as part of the legacy Smith Barney team, and he later returned to the firm as a Complex Manager in 2015. Throughout his career, Rusty has been active on numerous Branch Manager Advisory Councils and committees, helping to shape the strategic direction of the firm and the teams he leads. Known for his diligence and approachable nature, Rusty has consistently been recognized as one of Morgan Stanley’s top recruiters.

Outside of the office, Rusty values time spent with family, especially cheering on his son at baseball games. He is also a proud first-time grandfather and fully embraces the joy of spoiling his grandson.

About Chris Goad

Chris Goad is a Branch Service Officer for the Kenwood Branch Office at Morgan Stanley in Cincinnati. With over 26 years in the financial industry, he plays a vital role in the management team, partnering with advisors and support staff to help ensure the enduring success of their practices.

A graduate of Manchester College with a Bachelor of Science, Chris has been with Morgan Stanley since 2017. His career has taken him across several states, including Florida, Texas, Indiana, and Michigan, and his experience spans Ultra High Net Worth Relationship Management, Operations, Risk Management, and Client Service.

With diverse, hands-on experience, Chris has the creative skillset and broad perspective to navigate complex wealth management challenges, optimize operations, and ensure the branch runs seamlessly. By enhancing the efficiency of advisor support systems, he empowers them to focus on delivering top-tier service to clients and their families, particularly those with intricate wealth management needs. Known for his problem-solving abilities and passion for building strong relationships, Chris prides himself on being a trusted partner advisors can turn to time and again for guidance, support, and innovative solutions.

Outside of work, Chris loves spending quality time with his family, diving into DIY projects around the house, and staying active in the lacrosse community. He and his wife, Rachel, are proud parents of two talented kids: Alex, who shines in varsity swimming and lacrosse, and Sydney, who’s earned varsity letters in swimming, weightlifting, and lacrosse. Both have competed on National Club teams across the U.S., and Chris couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.

About Madeline Grosse

Madeline Grosse is the Branch Administrator at Morgan Stanley’s Kenwood Branch in Cincinnati, where she supports her colleagues by ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary to thrive.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Economics, Madeline joined Morgan Stanley shortly after graduation. Continuously striving to grow, she is currently pursuing her Series 66 license, with plans to earn her Series 9 and 10 in the near future.

Madeline wears many hats in her role at the Kenwood Office — from managing day-to-day office operations and onboarding new team members to organizing employee and client events, providing IT support, and assisting with the branch’s budgeting efforts. As the head of both the Social and Charitable Committees, she also plays a key role in fostering a collaborative, positive office culture. She thrives on making sure her colleagues have what they need to succeed, so that they can stay focused on providing an even more seamless service to their clients.

Outside of work, Madeline is actively involved in her community and regularly volunteers her time. She also has a passion for baking and cooking, a skill she honed during her time as a professional baker. In her free time, Madeline enjoys traveling, playing frisbee golf, and exploring the countryside with her longtime boyfriend, Kevin.

About Briner Ellis

Briner Ellis is an Assistant Vice President and Risk Officer at Morgan Stanley's Ohio Valley Complex. With two decades of experience in the financial industry, Briner plays a vital role in ensuring that all branch operations adhere to the firms high standards of compliance and regulatory requirements.

His responsibilities include supervising account activity, monitoring trading practices, and ensuring all employees maintain the necessary licensure and registration. Briner is committed to training employees on the ever-evolving regulatory landscape and firm initiatives, seeking to ensure that compliance with state and federal regulations is integrated into everyday practices. His work helps safeguard clients' assets and ensures the branch operates with the utmost integrity.

A graduate of Ball State University, Briner spent over 16 years at a well-respected regional financial services firm, where he gained extensive experience in annuities and securities suitability review. After building a strong foundation in navigating complex regulatory environments, he joined Morgan Stanley in 2021, bringing with him a hands-on approach to helping teams meet firm and regulatory requirements and help protect clients' assets.

Outside of the office, Briner is active in the Greater Cincinnati Ball State Alumni Association and enjoys immersing himself in Cincinnati's dynamic restaurant scene. An outdoor enthusiast, he can often be found hiking, camping, or working on home improvement projects when he’s not exploring the city.

About Steve Meihaus

Steve Meihaus is an Assistant Vice President and Risk Officer for Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management offices in Kenwood and Downtown Cincinnati. Since joining Morgan Stanley in 2022, Steve has leveraged his deep experience in managed account risk and trading supervision to help financial advisors and support teams navigate complex regulatory landscapes and ensure clients' assets are well-protected.

A graduate of Thomas More University (B.B.A. & M.B.A), Steve has spent nearly a decade focused on risk management and operational oversight. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he developed expertise in managing account risks and supervising high-stakes trading operations at Fidelity. His hands-on approach and attention to detail have been key to ensuring compliance with firm policies and industry regulations.

As a proud U.S. Army Veteran, Steve attributes his disciplined, mission-driven work ethic to his military service. His leadership experience in the Army ingrained in him a strong sense of responsibility, which he now applies to his role at Morgan Stanley. Steve ensures his team is always audit-ready and compliant, working proactively to maintain the highest standards. He collaborates closely with financial advisors and employees to foster a deep understanding of risk management strategies, simplifying the complexities of the regulatory landscape and making it easier to navigate.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his family in Hebron, KY, where he resides with his wife Hannah and their kids, Camryn and Henry. A fan of both travel and home improvement, Steve spends his free time either exploring new places with his family or working on projects around the house.
