My Story

Katie DuBois is a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley and a member of The Oaks Group, ranked #1 in California by Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams (2025 & 2026). She helps individuals and families navigate their financial lives with discipline, structure, clarity, and thoughtful strategy, with a focus on managing risk, preserving wealth, and making sound decisions over time.

Katie has established herself at Morgan Stanley through consistent performance and disciplined execution. She is a multi-year member of the Pacesetter’s Club, recognized from 2020 through 2024. This is a distinction awarded to a select group of top-performing advisors within the firm early in their careers and reflects sustained performance at a high level.

Her approach is built around long-term strategy, financial planning, disciplined decision making, and helping clients create wealth intentionally. Katie believes true wealth is not determined by what someone earns but by the consistency, structure, and discipline behind their financial decisions over time.

Known for her calm and strategic approach, Katie works closely with clients who value organization, preparation, and long-term thinking. She is especially passionate about working with individuals and families who have multiple moving parts in their financial lives, including equity compensation, retirement planning, generational wealth, business ownership, and major life transitions. Her goal is to simplify complexity and help clients move forward with clarity and confidence.

Katie takes a highly personalized and educational approach to advising. She believes clients should understand the reasoning behind their strategy and feel empowered in the decision-making process. She values strong relationships built on trust, accountability, and transparency. A core part of her philosophy is that discipline matters in every area of life. She believes the habits behind small daily decisions often shape long-term outcomes. That mindset influences the way she advises clients and the standard she holds herself to personally and professionally.

She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Economics, completing her studies in 3 years. Outside of work, Katie is a wife and a mother of 2. She lives locally and enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, strength training, swimming, and reading.

Women Who Lead

Women make up half the population but for so long have been treated like a niche demographic in financial services. Today, women are largely responsible for their families' financial decision-making, and hold the majority of consumer spending power. Women are anything but a niche.

I help bring structure and confidence to key moments - such as a career transition, sale of a business, inheritance, divorce, or caring for loved ones - so your plan evolves as your life does.
