My Story

Katie Arnold is a Financial Advisor that focuses on helping clients make wise financial choices so they can be confident about their future. Her love of working with people stemmed from a young age. Her father is a mortgage banker and his office became her home away from home. There she learned the importance of relationships built on trust and striving to deliver an exceptional level of service; she stands by those values every day. Katie helps by taking planning for your financial future off of your to-do list so you can feel confident about reaching your financial goals and have more time to enjoy the little things in life that make you happy.Katie works hand-in-hand with you to help develop a plan that best suits your needs and long-term financial goals. She starts by discovering your financial situation and then analyzes various investment options. Together you implement a wealth plan, she then tracks your progress to make appropriate changes where needed so you stay on track to achieve your goals. She graduated from UCLA in 3 years with a degree in Economics and has a formal education in International Trade, Economic Growth & Development, Econometrics, and Employment Law. After graduation, she worked in technology as an Account Manager at Insight Global but her love for markets and helping others prompted her to join Morgan Stanley soon after. She is actively involved in her community with Soroptimist International of Santa Clarita Valley, a global women’s organization that aims to empower women and girls both socially and economically.  When not in the office she enjoys staying active and taking her dog on adventures, watching college and professional football, and spending time in the gym.

I always say that if I weren't a financial advisor, I would be a teacher. My absolute favorite part of this job is helping my clients increase their financial literacy. I studied Economics at UCLA for one simple reason: it fascinates me. I am so fortunate that my job allows me to talk about something I am passionate about every single day, which is financial markets and investment strategy. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to educate my clients so they can feel more confident about their financial future. Loving to teach others comes hand-in-hand with an unending thirst for knowledge. Every morning I read the Wall Street Journal and the Morgan Stanley daily research reports so I can deliver to you the most up-to-date current events that effect your portfolio and the market as a whole. I also take advantage of our 450+ research analysts and our Global Investment Committee to bring you a steady stream of investment ideas and asset class recommendations.

Since education is one of the primary pillars of my practice, I am committed to extending that service to the next generation. Ask me about how to raise money-savvy kids. I enjoy talking to youth about the basics of money and speaking with High School students about how to get into the school of their dreams and manage their finances in their first few years of adulthood. 
  
The other key pillar of my practice is service second-to-none. Service second-to-none does not merely encompass being there to pick up your call, it means so much more. I grew up watching my father run his small business. From him I learned that the little things are everything and that in order to retain a committed client base, you must treat them like your own family. My clients priorities are my priorities. My clients goals are my goals. My clients future is my future. No compromise.
