For over two decades my passion has been helping my clients to strategically navigate their financial futures to make their dreams a reality. Integrating generational financial planning with a systematic approach to complex wealth management, I customize a financial plan that encompasses a client’s assets as well as their liabilities. With an eye toward tax-treatment of available options, my team develops long-term strategies that focus on risk management while aiming to maximize the potential of virtually every aspect of a client’s financial life.

Understanding your life, your wealth and what you want to accomplish is at the core of my practice. We'll discuss your goals, the people who are most important in your life and your vision for the future. Then we'll help you organize your financial life into three strategies: Liquidity—to help provide cash flow for short-term expenses, Longevity—for longer-term needs and Legacy—for needs that go beyond your own.

I am not only passionate about helping our clients grow and preserve the wealth they have created, but also to helping make a difference in their lives and in the lives of those they love. This is the main reason that I transitioned my practice to Morgan Stanley in 2021-in order to access the deep global resources and services to meet my clients’ sophisticated needs.

Serving Our Clients

Our clients mainly fall into two categories:

1. Successful, professionals who are raising families and while in the prime of their careers, they seek to accumulate as much as they can for retirement, their family and to enhance their lifestyle.

2. Currently retired, and gifting to family and causes they are passionate about. They need a comprehensive strategy that is risk-aware so they can be confident they will not outlive their money.

We help our clients with these challenges:

Since financial decisions cannot be made in a vacuum, we assist our clients in their decision-making by offering options and modeling potential outcomes. It is imperative that investors be educated about the ramifications of the financial issues they face.
Multi-Generational Families
We address a broad range of client circumstances across generations and our practice is focused on the impact of wealth on family members. Preparing inheritors to pursue their own productive lives is a high priority for our clients. Developing tax-effective charitable giving strategies can present more meaningful ways to support causes our clients are passionate about, while also providing opportunities for including family members in financial lessons.
Women
Many independent women tell us they often feel as though they have been underserved in the field of financial advice. Objective and trustworthy information can be difficult to find so our team brings a multitude of resources and experience in financial planning and investment strategies for single, divorced and widowed women.

Planning for retirement can be and potentially overwhelming and there are important factors to consider well in advance. We guide professionals and business owners through the retirement process to help them determine the best saving and financial planning options so they can focus on today while they are planning for their future.
Sudden Wealth
Business owners planning to sell their companies need a comprehensive planning approach to determine the best strategy for monetizing their business equity. Recipients of inheritance, divorce settlement, insurance payouts and lottery winners may receive a significant lump sum or continual payouts. We can help them evaluate the long-term comprehensive financial impact of these options.
Kathleen brings more than 20 years of financial services experience to every client she serves. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2021 to provide her clients with resources that she believes are unique in the financial services industry.

“I believe that the most important thing I can do for my clients is to provide them with the information they need to make sound financial decisions – decisions they can look back on with the knowledge that they’ve done the right thing for themselves and their families,” she states.

As a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch and UBS, she took pride in serving as her clients’ advocate and scrutinized financial products and services assiduously before presenting them for her clients’ consideration. By transitioning her practice to Morgan Stanley, Kathleen believes she will be able to provide her clients with resources that will make a major difference in their financial lives.

A native Ohioan, Kathleen is active in the Columbus community. She serves on the boards of The Columbus Rotary Club and Columbus Association for Performing Arts (CAPA).
