Harold J. Trischman, a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, provides guidance on a spectrum of complex wealth issues that face ultra-high net worth individuals and businesses. A graduate of McGill University, Harold earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry in 1983, and an MBA in international finance from New York University in 1993. Harold is a member of the board of directors and past Board Chair of LifeBridge Community Services in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He is also a member of the board of directors of two McGill University advisory boards. Harold resides in Fairfield, Connecticut, with his wife, Susan, and has two grown children, John and Hannah. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, golf and curling.

Robert advises families on multifaceted wealth transfer strategies, charitable planning and business succession planning. Robert earned his Bachelor of Arts from Denison University in 1996. He and his wife, Stephanie, live in his hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut, with their two children, R.J. and Lucy. Robert enjoys volunteering at a number of local charities. Presently, he is a member of both the finance board and the investment committee of the Greenfield Hill Congregational Church. Active in his children’s sports, Robert coaches both of his children’s soccer teams. When not volunteering, he most enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, playing soccer, skiing and tennis.

With more than four decades of experience working with ultra high net worth clients, Joyce Goldfarb, an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, brings keen insights and a historical perspective to managing clients’ portfolios. Known for listening intently to clients, Joyce strives to find opportunities that help add value to clients’ financial objectives, and to their life aspirations. With her extensive experience, Joyce guides clients’ portfolios rationally and confidently through the market’s many cycles. Joyce focuses on building individualized portfolios for each client, incorporating equities, fixed income, alternative investments, retirement planning and estate planning strategies. Joyce is also deeply rooted in the fixed income markets, providing insight to the team's fixed income portfolio management.

Throughout her career, Joyce has attained a number of professional distinctions, including Portfolio Management Director and Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley. As a Portfolio Management Director, Joyce is part of an exclusive group of Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors who are qualified by the firm to manage clients’ assets on a discretionary basis. Additionally, understanding the importance of financial planning for clients’ financial success, Joyce earned her certified financial planner™ designation early in her career, in 1983.

She and Arthur are proud of their time volunteering in the Emergency Department at Norwalk Hospital and their work with many local charities.

Karl is a seasoned financial professional with over 20 years of experience in a variety of capacities including Portfolio Manager at Avatar Associates, Equity Analyst at Bank of America Securities, and Executive Director at JP Morgan. Over the course of his career, Karl has worked with some of the largest and most sophisticated investors in the world. For the past five years, Karl has had the pleasure of working as a Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor to high net worth individuals, local businesses, and non-profits. He has top notch industry credentials, including an MBA from Columbia Business School, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations.

Karl has long-standing and deep ties in the local community and is involved in the Westport Rotary Club, Habitat for Humanity, and other local organizations. In addition, Karl has been fortunate to share his knowledge with the next generation as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business for more than a decade. His experience has taught him that the key to investing is to maintain a long term perspective, avoid fads and high-flyers, and focus on risk management.

Growing up in a family where both of his parents are teachers, Ben believes it is important to financially educate clients as part of his role as a Financial Advisor. Ben is actively involved in his community, serving as Chairman of the Young Professionals Committee for the Susie Foundation, where he also sits on the Board of Directors. Brett holds a B.S. from Babson College in Wellesley, MA, where he was Captain of the Men’s NCAA Lacrosse Team. Brett grew up in New Jersey and currently lives with his wife and daughter in New Canaan, Connecticut. In his free time, Brett enjoys golf, skiing, fly-fishing, and traveling.
