About Brad Hulse
With 42+ years of industry experience and a variety of market swings under his belt, several industry recognized credentials, and recognitions of his skills from Morgan Stanley, Brad Hulse brings a variety of experiences and background to assist not-for-profit institutions, as well as high and ultra-high net worth families work through the financial complexities of stewarding significant wealth.
A Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley, Brad was an early adopter of financial planning, earning his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation in 1988.
In 2005, he added two more important designations relevant to his clientele:
• the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation conferred by the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
• and the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), conferred by the American College.
More recently, in 2021 Brad earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation to hone his skills in working with private business owners. In addition to these four industry recognized designations, Brad has earned the right to use several Morgan Stanley designations:
• Family Wealth Advisor
• Alternative Investments Director and
• Senior Investment Management Consultant.
Lastly, Brad has earned the right to use the Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®) designation conferred by Kingdom Advisors , a member driven fellowship of Christian Financial Advisors.
Morgan Stanley’s Investing with Impact offering understands that many Christians seek to embrace their faith holistically, and Christian values may play a critical role in their investment decisions. This includes the management of investments as an extension of their faith and as a complement to other activities, such as philanthropy. Alongside the tools available at Morgan Stanley, Investing with Impact has published a Christian Values Guide that can aid in implementing faith into an investor’s financial, philanthropic, and human capital.
The significance of all these designations and the ongoing continuing education that they offer reflects Brad’s personal and professional commitment to excellence in investment, financial, philanthropic and estate planning strategies.
Forbes Magazine has honored Brad individually as a “Best-In-State” Wealth Advisor (2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026) and his Kairos Legacy Group team at Morgan Stanley as “Best-In-State” Wealth Management teams (2024, 2025 and 2026).
Brad is an active member of Kingdom Advisors who have honored him twice, including their most prestigious award: The Larry Burkette Award, presented in February 2018, and previously in February 2013, he was presented with Kingdom Advisors’ Russell E. Miller Community Leadership Award.
Brad is a Past Chair of the Christian Focus Group at Morgan Stanley, having served from 2016 through February 2026. The Christian Focus Group at Morgan Stanley currently serves 461+ members and employees of Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management business unit, supporting financial advisors and staff who seek to serve the Christian market with excellence. Our goals include promoting financial advisor collaboration, deepening and strengthening client relationships and promoting education and understanding of the unique values that drive investment behavior (including Impact Investing) within the Christian marketplace.
Locally, Brad is a member of the Central Indiana Community Foundation’s (CICF) Cornerstone Council and was CICF’s first recipient of their Professional Partners in Philanthropy Award.
Brad and his team have sponsored four “Hands of Hope” client events in conjunction with the Salvation Army, designed to allow parents and grandparents, in a hands-on environment, to model volunteerism for their children and grandchildren; as well as a client event that supported ICAN, an Indianapolis based non-profit that trains assistance dogs for a variety of services for the disabled community.
Brad was a co-founder and leader of Rethinking Wealth, a movement of Central Indiana Christian financial advisors. From 2013 – 2019, through Rethinking Wealth events, over 1,000 attendees comprised of area financial advisors, CPA’s, attorneys, pastors and non-profit representatives met to hone their skills in biblical financial stewardship.
Brad has participated in three and led three work teams building school classrooms, a medical dispensary, two churches and even helped with the electrical work on a hydro-electric dam built to supply power to a hospital, all in Kenya, Africa.
In 2018, along with four other Morgan Stanley advisors, including his business partner Dean Crandall, Financial Advisor and Sr. Vice President, visited Syrian refugee camps in Beirut Lebanon, and raised $50,000 for humanitarian relief.
Along with his wife Char, they have raised thirteen puppies for Leader Dogs for the Blind to be trained as guide dogs for the visually impaired.
But most important of all to Brad is his membership at Community Bible Fellowship Church in Westfield, IN, where he:
• Is a charter member.
• Served on the inaugural missions committee.
• Has taught a 13-week Faith and Finances course.
• Serves as a member of the Safety Team.
• And makes coffee for Sunday worship attendees two months/year!
