My Story

I believe in creating financial confidence for families. As a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley I appreciate the opportunity to lead, educate and help people make decisions that meaningfully grows and protects wealth for their family and future generations.

I grew up in a working-class family in a small city in Kentucky where savings and expenses were frequently discussed. The 2008 Financial Crisis had a significant impact on my family's finances and this inspired me to learn about the stock market. I developed a personal passion for investing and upon graduating from the University of Kentucky pursued a career in wealth management.

Moving to San Diego in 2014 and starting my business, I did not have a local network, wealthy friends, or family to lean on to get started. I developed a client list from scratch by earning trust the old-fashioned way: through communication, honesty, and a high level of service. Treating clients like family and really listening to their needs sets myself apart from other Financial Advisors. I know how hard it is to earn money and how important it is to have that money work just as hard for you.

In 2019, I partnered with a senior financial advisor who provided the opportunity to continue serving his clients when he retired. I’ve been named to the firm’s Pacesetters Club in 2019-2024 as recognition for exceptional client service. I currently live in La Jolla and actively involved in giving back to the community. Outside of the office I enjoy fitness, reading at the beach and cheering on my favorite basketball and football teams.

Andrew was raised in the Atlanta, Georgia area and has called San Diego, California home for the past 20 years. He attended the University of Tennessee and has spent his nearly two decade career working in Financial Services. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2024 as a Client Service Associate and holds a Series 7 license. In his spare time Andrew enjoys discovering new music and restaurants.

About Michael Mackowiak

Michael Mackowiak is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in California.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Michael began his career in financial services in 2008, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2019 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Premier Banker at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.

He lives in Chula Vista, California with his family. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys watching soccer and baseball, traveling, and spending time with his family.
