My Mission Statement
Placing you and your goals in the center of a comprehensive,
360-degree wealth management process.
360-degree wealth management process.
My Story
My clients have built successful careers. Most are business professionals who have built their practices from scratch or rose through the ranks at an established firm. Either way, they have many financial responsibilities and issues to solve. Time is their most precious commodity, and they seek professional guidance to effectively manage their investments.
As a financial advisor, I help simplify your life. By managing the day-to-day activities of your wealth, I enable you to focus on your career, family and charitable endeavors without distractions. With my thorough and consultative practice, I guide you through the complexities of today’s environment to reach your goals.
Every client and situation are different. As part of the assessment process, I explore what is important for both today and tomorrow. Together, we formulate a tailored strategy to meet your financial goals and leave a lasting legacy. I want to make sure you understand the why and how of every decision: why I have suggested the strategy and how I recommend to implement it. With over 25 years of experience as an advisor and institutional trader, I focus on identifying sound and creative ideas that address your particular needs.
My passion is helping people and developing trusting relationships. I am dedicated to providing concierge service and am committed to your financial future. Frequent conversations to discuss progress or changes in your life are critical. I meet where and when it is convenient for you. This personalized approach is the foundation on which I’ve built my practice.

Working With You
The process I follow to create is thorough, disciplined and highly consultative. My goal is to make certain you are well-informed about the strategy, clearly understand the plan’s goals and are comfortable with the method.
To achieve these objectives, I have a multi-step approach:
To achieve these objectives, I have a multi-step approach:
Discovery Process
Taking a complete view of your assets, obligations and life style is imperative to developing a sound financial plan. During this process, I gather information about your personal and financial goals and objectives. We discuss your family, your values (what is important to you), your work and philanthropic endeavors, along with your assets and liabilities. In addition, we discuss your risk tolerance, tax concerns and short, medium and long-term goal.
Where appropriate, I also consult with your tax and legal advisors to analyze your income and estate tax circumstances to incorporate any nuances into the plan.
Where appropriate, I also consult with your tax and legal advisors to analyze your income and estate tax circumstances to incorporate any nuances into the plan.
Creation of the Strategic Investment Plan
The comprehensive plan is customized to your specific goals and objectives, based on time-tested principles. To create the plan, I use the wealth of resources and extensive investment options available at Morgan Stanley.
Implementation
When presenting the plan, I review in detail how it is structured to meet your financial goals and expected results. Your tax and legal advisors are always welcome to join us. Once you approve the plan, implementation begins.
On-going Monitoring
Implementation of the plan is the first step in helping you to achieve you goals and objectives. Monitoring the plan, keeping abreast of changes in the financial markets, investments, economic landscape and any changes in your priorities are critical to helping you reach your financial goals. We meet on a scheduled basis to track progress and review your spending and saving, making adjustments as needed to help ensure your plan keeps pace with your objectives.
Core Values
My core values are the essence of what I believe is important to develop long-term trusting relationships. They are my personal standards of conduct.
Live up to commitments:
I take my commitments seriously and place the utmost importance in delivering the boutique level service I pledge to my clients.
Consultative relationships:
I am dedicated to developing deep and lasting relationship and am committed to maintaining an open and honest dialogue.
Thought Leadership:
I feel it is imperative that clients understand the investments recommended and how the investments are aligned with their long-term goals. By on-going communication and sharing perspectives from industry leaders, clients are better able to make educated decisions.
All-encompassing Approach:
It is critical to take an all-encompassing view on all assets, obligations and philanthropic activities to help ensure they are working together when designing a plan that meets client’s goals and objectives.
Community Involvement
“From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.” ~ Arthur Ashe
For me, giving back to the community is one of the most important and valuable actions I can take. Assisting those less fortunate has the potential to change someone’s life and have an impact on the community. Whether helping at St. Ann’s Infants and Maternity Home, providing food to the needy or helping with care of cemeteries, I find a sense of comfort knowing that I am helping to make someone’s life a bit better. Below are some of the organizations with which I am currently involved:
Share DC, a non-profit food distributor for low income families. Past chairman and have been active in the group for close to 25 years.
Catholic Cemeteries Archdiocese of Washington. Immediate past chairman of the investment committee and have been involved for more than five years.
In addition, I have been active in professional organizations including:
Mid-Atlantic Traders Association. Past President.
Security Traders Association Past Governor.

Experience
Since 1989 I have dedicated my career to listening carefully to my clients, providing investment advice and delivering exceptional service. Personal long-term relationships are the foundation of my business.
I began my career as an equity trader and later became an institutional sales trader with clients around the globe. With a young family at home, I wanted to curtail my overseas business travel. Using my in-depth market experience, discipline and process orientation to help clients reach their financial goals, I became a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in 2012, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2015. The skills and institutional knowledge I learned as a trader have enabled me to provide a distinctive perspective for my clients.
When not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, of whom I am very proud. A long time resident of Washington DC, I attended Ball State University. I have a personal interest in lacrosse as both of my children play competitively in college. Additionally, I am committed to improving the lives of those less fortunate and enjoy contributing to the success of the non-profit organizations with which I am involved.
I hold my FINRA Series 7, 24, 55, 63, and 66 licenses, a well as his life, health and annuity insurance licenses.
