My Mission

My primary focus is the well-being of your entire family. Addressing these multi-faceted concerns requires extensive knowledge, experience and commitment. My personal knowledge and experience, coupled with the wisdom passed down from two generations of family Financial Advisors and their many years of experience working with families, distinctively positions me to provide a broader spectrum of family-centric wealth management strategies to you.

We take care of the obvious areas, such as:
• Managing Taxes. We keep an eye on new opportunities to potentially reduce your taxable income as your goals and finances evolve.
• Retirement Planning. We help you develop and implement a strategy based on your personal vision of retirement.
• Education Planning. We help you craft a plan to pay for a good education for your children or grandchildren.
• Family Concerns. We help you prepare for the possibility that your parents or other relatives may need assistance with health or living expenses now or in the future.
• Liquidity Needs. We work to maximize your options for having funds available when you need them.
• Insurance and Long-Term Care. We aim to ensure your family is protected during difficult times.

But, we’re also more than qualified to address complex issues that fall outside the bounds of a traditional advisory relationship, such as:
• Transferring a family business to the next generation
• Creating an estate plan to help minimize the potential for sibling conflict
• Refining your philanthropic goals around tax-aware strategies
Disclosures
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC offers insurance products in conjunction with its licensed insurance agency affiliates.

Since life insurance and long term care insurance are medically underwritten, you should not cancel your current policy until your new policy is in force. A change to your current policy may incur charges, fees and costs. A new policy will require a medical exam. Surrender charges may be imposed and the period of time for which the surrender charges apply may increase with a new policy. You should consult with your own tax advisors regarding your potential tax liability on surrenders.

The 529 Plan Program Disclosure contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses, and potential tax consequences. Investors can obtain a 529 Plan Program Disclosure from their Financial Advisor and should read it carefully before investing. Investors should also consider whether tax or other benefits are only available for investments in your home state 529-college savings plan.

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC (“Morgan Stanley”), its affiliates and Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors or Private Wealth Advisors do not provide tax or legal advice. Clients should consult their tax advisor for matters involving taxation and tax planning and their attorney for matters involving trust and estate planning and other legal matters.
