About Jolie Ann Calella
Forbes Magazine has recognized Jolie as one of the Best-In-State Wealth Advisors in 2025. She has been consistently recognized by Forbes as a Top Women Wealth Advisor since 2020. Her dedication to fostering financial literacy traces back to her early years. Born to a widowed mother raising two daughters solo in New York City, Jolie learned the vital importance of education, financial acumen, and self-reliance from a young age.
From her academic journey onward, Jolie's unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth has been her guiding light. During her college years, Jolie secured a coveted position as a network page at Capital Cities/ABC, which paved the way for roles as a production assistant and publicity assistant at ABC and its parent company, Walt Disney Co. Throughout law school, Jolie served as a research assistant for an esteemed income tax professor. From 1995 to 2003, Jolie practiced law in New York City, working at both large and small law firms.
In 2004, Jolie discovered her true passion and embarked on a fulfilling career as a financial advisor, a path she has never strayed from since. Her relentless pursuit of professional excellence led her to actively engage with the Personal Income Tax Committee and the Trusts, Estates, and Surrogate's Courts Committee at the New York City Bar Association from 2004 to 2008. Jolie's commitment to lifelong learning culminated in her achievement of the esteemed Certified Financial Planner ("CFP®") designation in 2012 and the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant ("QPFC") designation in 2022.
Jolie generously shares her wealth of experience with colleagues and clients alike. In 2016, she co-founded the HER Way Steering Committee at Morgan Stanley, a collaborative initiative composed of female financial advisors. In 2022, Jolie received an invitation to join the prestigious Morgan Stanley Women in Wealth, LIFT Committee for the northeast region. Both committees share a common mission: promoting female financial education and empowerment.
In line with her dedication to assisting those less fortunate, Jolie channels her energies towards helping individuals with low vision and blindness achieve independent and fulfilling lives. She is a dedicated supporter of the National Federation of the Blind. Jolie also holds the honored position of a Fordham University Board of Advisors member and, in 2017, was recognized with the Fordham University Pioneering Women in Philanthropy Award.
Jolie's influence extends beyond her professional endeavors. She has been a speaker on financial literacy at NYU Leonard N. Stern School of Business and an active participant in the Fordham University Undergraduate Mentoring Program.
Beyond her achievements and professional commitments, Jolie's zest for life shines through her global travel adventures, cycling pursuits, dedicated yoga practice, and cherished moments shared with loved ones.
