My Story and Services

John Blum is a Producing Manager and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. With over 40 years of experience in the financial industry, John has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to his clients. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from The City University of New York Herbert H. Lehman College.

John began his career as a Financial Advisor at Shearson in 1982. Later, he joined Dean Witter in 1990, which eventually merged with Morgan Stanley in 1997. In 1999, he opened the Warren NJ office and has been a producing manager since then. John offers a wide range of services including financial planning, wealth management, investment management, philanthropy/donor advised funds, education planning, life insurance, cash management and lending, retirement planning, and estate planning.

He currently resides in Bayonne, NJ and Sayreville, NJ with his wife Deborah, their dog Bosco, and their cat Rex. Their youngest son lives in Sayreville, with their three grandchildren. When not in the office, John enjoys playing golf and spending time at his property in the Catskills with his family. John is also a big believer in giving back to the community, he is an active supporter of various organizations including St. Jude, Calvary Hospital, The Hudson County Animal League, and the ASPCA.

With his experience and knowledge, John takes great pride in building long-lasting relationships with his clients and helping them navigate through challenging life circumstances, as well as challenging market conditions. His goal is to guide individuals and their families on the right financial path to achieve their goals and secure their financial future.

Tim Golier is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Central New Jersey.

About Lorraine Blevins

Lorraine Blevins, Vice President, Taxable Fixed Income Sales, has been a dedicated member of Morgan Stanley since 1996, specializing in fixed income sales within the Wealth Management Investment Solutions division. She received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rutgers University and is a lifelong member of the international honor society Beta Gamma Sigma. Lorraine serves as a key liaison between financial advisors and traders. Throughout her tenure, she has developed subject matter expertise across a broad range of taxable products. In addition, she provides guidance on bond sales, portfolio reviews, customized investment proposals, delivering tailored fixed income solutions to meet clients’ needs.
Originally from Scotland, Lorraine has made the USA her home. She is a devoted mother to two teenagers and enjoys spending the summer months on the water, sailing and jet skiing, after obtaining her boating license.
