My Story and Services

Joe works with individuals, families, and institutions to align their capital with their values without compromising returns. He brings the resources and expertise of the whole firm to benefit each client relationship.

Joe’s passion for investing with impact and his commitment to supporting his client’s philanthropic goals is informed by his decade of public service at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of State, and the Legal Aid Society of New York.

He received a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA in Criminal Justice from John Jay College in New York City. He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst.

Joe lives with his wife and cat in Chicago, IL where he is an active member of St. Chrysostom’s Episcopal Church in Chicago’s Gold Coast. He is an Obama Foundation USA Leader for the 2025-2026 program, and previously served as the volunteer Director of a grassroots anti-human trafficking organization in Washington, DC.

    James Johnson joined Morgan Stanley in 2024 and serves as a Registered Associate. He enjoys thinking about clients’ finances in the broader context of their lives, helping them to feel secure in their long-term plan.

    James recently moved to Chicago from Seattle, where he graduated from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington with a BA in Business Administration. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, travel, and finding ways to practice French.

    Craig Yong joined Morgan Stanley in 2024 as a Registered Associate, leaving his previous role as a chef in a Michelin starred restaurant. Craig leverages his previous experience in client facing roles as a tech consultant and as an entrepreneur, where he managed relationships with clients, business partners, and customers.

    Craig moved to Chicago from Singapore to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he graduated with a BA in Economics. In his free time, Craig enjoys cooking, aquarium keeping, and Brazilian jiu jitsu.

About Rosanne Peel

Rosanne Peel is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Illinois.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Rosanne began her financial services career in 1987 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. Prior to that, she was a Senior Private Banker at BMO Family Office. She also served as a Marketing Manager in the Business Development Group at TD Securities, a Private Banking Relationship Manager at Toronto Dominion Bank, and a Private Banking Relationship Manager at Marine Midland Bank/HSBC.

Rosanne is a graduate of University of Delaware, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She and her family currently reside in Winnetka, Illinois.

From 2014 to 2019, Rosanne dedicated her time to The Auxiliary of the Woman’s Board of the Rush University Medical Center as a Member before transitioning to an Associate Member in 2019. Outside of the office, Rosanne enjoys staying active outdoors by hiking and scuba-diving. She also enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and cooking.

About Andre Shammo

Andre is a Vice President and Financial Planning Director serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in the Northern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania as well as the Central and Eastern Pennsylvania Markets. He is responsible for helping Financial Advisors with their clients’ and prospects’ financial planning needs.

Andre began his career in financial services in 2017 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2023. Prior to his current position, he was a member of Robert W. Baird’s Wealth Planning team, where he worked with Baird Financial Advisors to deliver financial planning to their clients.

Andre graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Personal Finance and holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Personal Wealth Advisor designations. Andre lives in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Milwaukee, WI. Outside of work, Andre enjoys reading, watching and playing sports as well as traveling in his free time.

About Lynn King

Lynn R. King is a Family Office Resource Generalist for the Mid-America region. She has over 15 years of experience working with families, family offices, and their attorneys, CPAs and financial advisors on issues unique to the UHNW client. Lynn started her career as an attorney in Illinois working with closely held businesses across the country on a broad range of topics, including entity structuring, estate planning, business succession and tax. She then joined New York Life Insurance as a Corporate Vice President in their Advanced Planning Group. In this role she expanded on her experience from private practice and engaged with clients on complex business and personal planning needs.
Lynn joined Morgan Stanley in September of 2020. As the Family Office Resource Generalist, Lynn provides advice and strategies to UHNW families. To that end, she assists families with the creation of family mission statements. She also educates adults and children on how to be good stewards of generational wealth. She engages with resources in philanthropy, wealth and estate planning and trust management to ensure the UHNW clients of the Firm are able to accomplish their goals.
Lynn received her undergraduate degree in Finance and Political Science from the University of Illinois- Urbana-Champaign. She attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois where she obtained her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and is licensed to practice law in Illinois. She also holds her Series 7 and 66.
