My Story and Services

My approach to wealth management begins with understanding the whole picture—not just your investments. I take the time to understand your goals, concerns, family dynamics and the life you want your wealth to support. From there, I develop a highly personalized financial strategy designed to bring clarity to complex decisions and help keep every aspect of your financial life working together.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Portfolio Management Director, I work with high-net-worth individuals and families on comprehensive financial planning and investment management. My work extends beyond portfolio construction to retirement planning, estate planning strategies, tax-aware planning, liability management, education funding and the many financial decisions that arise as life evolves.

I have a particular passion for helping women build financial confidence and independence, especially during periods of transition such as divorce, the loss of a spouse or caring for loved ones. Whatever brings a client to me, my goal is the same: to simplify the complex, anticipate what needs attention and provide thoughtful guidance that reflects the person behind the financial plan.

Before joining Morgan Stanley in 2011, I was an Associate at JPMorgan Chase, where I provided asset management and dedicated, concierge-level client service. I earned my Bachelor of Science with honors from Sacred Heart University, double majoring in Finance and Business Management.

Outside of the office, I enjoy live music, Pilates, volleyball, gardening and spending as much time near the water as possible. I live in Stratford, CT with my rescue dogs and consider Montauk a second home.

Serving the Unique Needs of Women

I was raised by several generations of single women and witnessed first-hand the financial obstacles faced and mistakes made without the guidance of a Financial Advisor. This is why I'm dedicated to helping women to be financially confident, literate, and independent. Often juggling children, careers, divorces, deaths of spouses, or being caretakers for their own parents or loved ones, women need clear and personalized plans that simplify their lives. I take the time to understand the distinctive goals, needs and concerns that women have, and collaborate with them to put the pieces of their unique puzzle together to form a roadmap for their financial future, and assist in adjusting their sails when life changes.

I strive to provide my female clients with peace of mind surrounding all aspects of their finances, so they can be freed up to focus on the things most important to them. Advising women throughout different stages of their lives, my services are centered around the distinctive values and preferences of my female clients. I enjoy uplifting clients and celebrating life’s achievements and milestones with them. I will take time to understand your hopes and dreams, and focus on efficiency, clarity and honesty. I’m here to help increase your financial literacy or take the reins from you if you prefer.

It’s not surprising that women think about money differently than men. Because of all the reasons below, I am committed to creating a collaborative goals based investing experience for all women so that they feel more secure and empowered about their finances.

• 48% of women fear that they will be unable to meet the basic financial needs of their family in retirement, compared to 36% of men.

• Only 35% of women with at least a bachelor’s degree are comfortable making investment decisions, compared to 60% of men.

• A woman who is now 65 years old will spend approximately $47,000 more during her retirement years for health care expenses than her male counterpart.

• 33% of widows have trouble locating bank accounts and investments after their spouse dies, and 49% of widows lose at least half their income after their spouse dies

• Whereas men get an average income boost of 6% when they don the dad cap (the so-called fatherhood bonus), women see their income drop by around 4% per child — for an average of $16,000 per year.

• Only 34% of women negotiated salary at their last job offer (compared to 46% of men)

• When it comes to senior caregivers, women spend an average of six years on their duties (versus four years for men)—roughly 10% of their adult life.

• 77% of single-parent households are headed by women.

• Women generally outlive their partners, and many will manage their finances alone later in life.

• Only 17% of women over age 85 are married with a living spouse, compared to 60% of men at the same age. Translation: Whether it is due to divorce or widowhood, the majority of women will eventually need to face their finances alone.

• 41% of women say their biggest financial regret is not investing more

10Investing in the market entails the risk of market volatility. The value of all types of investments may increase or decrease over varying time periods. The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of sustainable or impact investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because sustainability and impact criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
