My Story and Services

While I’ve been in the financial services industry for more than 20 years, I knew I wanted to be a Financial Advisor ever since high school. My father was a Financial Advisor, and we founded our practice in 1994 with the vision of optimally serving affluent families through a Private Family Office structure within one of the nation’s largest financial services firms.
After my father’s retirement, I continued using this structure with my own practice. Being able to collaborate in a coordinated manner with a client’s tax, legal and risk counsel helps build their confidence that all perspectives are properly considered when developing and managing their exclusive wealth plan.
Based on my extensive experience working with ultra-high net worth families, I was selected for Morgan Stanley’s elite Family Wealth Director program. The program offers specialized training, and enables me to offer direct access to the advanced resources necessary to help affluent families address the complex, multigenerational challenges of managing significant wealth. This includes knowledge and experience in wealth transfer, tax-efficient strategies, asset allocation, philanthropy, family dynamics, manager selection and other important areas of concern.
Working with multigenerational families is rewarding to me. I value being able to help them preserve their legacy, maintain their lifestyle and support the people, causes and institutions that add meaning to their lives.
Many clients have been with me for decades. In fact, my very first client in financial services is still a client today. I’m honored by the continued trust they’ve placed in me over the years. And I look forward to building a lasting relationship with you.

My Clients

I serve a select group of clients based both in the Naples area as well as throughout the country whose financial objectives align with the approach started by my father and myself many years ago.

While everyone is unique in their own ways, most of my clients are seeking to preserve wealth and manage risk. My investment process aims to lower their overall volatility while potentially enhancing their returns over time.

How is this accomplished? Primarily by incorporating traditional stock and bond allocations in addition to non-traditional positions when appropriate. This strategy demands an in-depth understanding of traditional and alternative strategies which I’ve developed throughout my career in financial services.

Working With You

Every client should feel at ease when working with their Financial Advisor. So, to allow you to feel more comfortable, I’ve provided an overview of my process.

    1. Introduction
I’ll learn about you and your family while you learn about me. What are your needs and goals? How do you feel about investing?

I’ll also ask your permission to contact your other trusted advisors, such as your CPA or trust attorney. I provide holistic financial planning, and want to help ensure all the components of your financial world are working in unison towards your objectives.

    2. Education
I feel that educating clients is an important part of my responsibility. We’ll spend a significant amount of time discussing matters such as asset classes and various types of investment solutions
    Icon Image
    3. Discussion
I’ll identify the investment strategy that may be most appropriate given your investment needs, goals and risk tolerances.
    Icon Image
    4. Clarification
I’ll provide a comprehensive, detailed review of your plan. I encourage every client to ask clarification questions about their plan. For some, this is a quick process; for others, this may take multiple discussions. I want you to thoroughly understand your plan, and feel confident about it.

    5. Implementation
Upon your approval, I’ll strategically put your investment plan into action.
    Icon Image
    6. Oversight
Besides continuously monitoring the performance and execution of your plan, I’ll periodically consult with you to determine if any short-term adjustments are necessary.

Additionally, as part of my oversight responsibilities, at the end of each year I’ll provide your CPA with your year-to-date tax information regarding matters such as qualification distributions, capital gains, real estate transactions and other related items.
