My Story and Services

Jeff Ihrig is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Starting in 1998, Jeff has accumulated over 25 years of experience building long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with residential and commercial clientele. His passion for the business lies in establishing long term relationships with his clients and helping them work towards achieving their financial goals.

What he enjoys most when working with clients is sitting down and listening to their stories, learning as much as possible about them and their personal lives before diving deep into their finances. With this information, he develops a service plan for his clients that is responsive, resourceful, and caring.

Jeff has earned a bachelor’s in economics from Dennison University in Granville, Ohio. Since then, Jeff has obtained his Series 7, 6, 31, 66, 63 & 65 licenses which attributes to his motivation towards a lifetime of learning.

Outside of work, Jeff can be found coaching baseball in Winchester, MA or playing a game of pickup basketball and softball. Jeff values spending time with his wife of 20+ years and their three children Brady, Charlie, and Ryan, attending their sporting events and recitals before they head off to college. Previously, Jeff was a Board Member at Team Continuum, a Pediatric Cancer Non-Profit where he raised funds through personal events, happy hours, and recruiting marathon runners. Jeff is currently seeking to get involved again with volunteer work with local charities in the Boston area, contributing to one of Morgan Stanley’s core values of giving back.

Approach

Discovery Process
Investing the time to learn about you and your family; your assets and liabilities and the risk exposures, enables us to formulate strategies and customize the relationship to your needs.
Formulation of Tax, Trust and Estate Strategy
Working with your tax and legal advisors, we help analyze your income and estate tax circumstances to identify and tailor planning techniques that may be used to address your objectives.
Creation of Customized Strategic Asset Allocation
Your customized asset allocation reflects risk, opportunities and taxation across multiple entities, while integrating your investing and estate plans.
Integration of Tactical Asset Allocation
Short-term adjustments seek to capitalize on temporary market distortions. Before making adjustments, we analyze the impact of taxes and trading costs on potential returns.
Implementation of a Customized Wealth Strategy
After comprehensive due diligence and analysis of expected results across multiple market scenarios, strategies are chosen from our expansive investment platform.
Ongoing Assessment
In coordination with your other advisors, we can conduct ongoing reviews and comprehensive reporting to ensure that your strategy adapts to changing financial and family needs.

MANAGING ASSETS & LIABILITIES
