Jbara and Rogers Financial Management Group at Morgan Stanley

Our Mission Statement
COMMITMENT TO YOUR GOALS. WELL-INFORMED ADVICE. COMPREHENSIVE CLIENT SUPPORT.
Since 1985 through all market conditions, Managing Directors Gary W. Jbara and Mark J. Rogers have maintained their commitment to provide sound advice to help our clients achieve their financial goals. Long-term relationships with family offices, institutional investors, high-net-worth private clients, and corporate retirement plan sponsors give us knowledge earned from advising clients with a diverse range of investment needs. Our team of eleven experienced financial services professionals delivers exceptional client services to investors throughout the United States from offices in Farmington Hills, Michigan and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Strategic planning allows our clients to prepare for Retirement.
For almost 40 years, we've helped clients create customized plans for retirement based on their individual goals and risk tolerance rather than fitting their investments into an existing model. Our process includes cash flow analysis, social security modeling, analysis regarding taking a lump sum versus a monthly pension income, and asset/liability measurement to meet your spending needs.
Graystone Consulting offers Institutional Clients access to world-class global resources.
We joined Graystone Consulting to better serve institutional investors and family offices by aligning with an investment practice with more than 40 years of experience advising clients as a fiduciary. You gain access to specialists dedicated to investment manager analysis and unbiased strategies using an open architecture platform to help you manage complexity, optimize investment return potential, and align your mission with your investment decisions.
Our team continues to evolve to meet the unique needs of investors.
In October 2020 Morgan Stanley announced the acquisition of ETRADE, a pioneer in the online brokerage industry for nearly 40 years. As a result of Morgan Stanley's referral program with ETRADE, our team is one of two in Michigan who will meet with business owners and investors with highly concentrated stock positions who require more sophisticated financial services.
When employees thrive, companies thrive too with Morgan Stanley at Work.
Recognizing the need in 2020 for companies to offer employees benefits that enhance their financial lives beyond their 401(k) plan, our team is one of the first to offer the Morgan Stanley at Work Financial Wellness Program. The program arms HR Directors with the tools to reduce employee stress, improve engagement, and offer a competitive benefits package to attract and retain key talent.
We help Small Businesses offer competitive retirement plans.
In 2021 our group began our partnership with the Small Business Association of Michigan to create a Pooled Retirement Plan structure. Pooled Employee Retirement Plans (PEPs) offer small businesses an opportunity to band together and leverage their group purchasing power to work with service providers and ease the plan's administrative burdens.
Investing with Impact aims to generate market-rate returns and positive impact.
For clients who are interested in Sustainable Investing, we help develop Morgan Stanley's Investing with Impact platform with portfolios constructed to seek market-rate financial returns and positive environmental and/or social impact. It offers individuals, family offices and institutions the opportunity to align values with investments and leave a positive legacy for future generations.
We deliver the resources of a large institution with the personal engagement of a family business.
Whether you are planning for the benefit of a college endowment; community or private foundation; or for the future of your family, we help you create a comprehensive financial strategy based on your unique investment and spending policy. Please contact us to determine if we can help you make well-informed, confident financial decisions.

Our Qualifications
In “A Father’s Case for Sustainability” on Morgan Stanley’s Institute for Sustainable Investing page, Mark discusses the importance of Impact Investing.
The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria.
