My Story and Services

Jason Parker is a Financial Advisor & Senior Investment Management Consultant at Morgan Stanley, who is passionate about his business. Since 2006, he has helped clients negotiate their wealth management journey while pursuing their most anticipated financial and life goals. Jason’s professional philosophy revolves around Leadership; ensuring that his clients have access to superior wealth management experiences with regards to service and technology, while receiving best-in-class advice, tailored to each individual need.

Jason credits his upbringing, education, family, and military background as the driving forces of his life and career. Growing up in a working-class home outside of Boston, Jason had an early appreciation for hard work. He saw first-hand the value of goal setting and delayed gratification through the eyes and achievements of his parents; work a second job, own your home, pay for college, save for retirement. This example served Jason well, who attended the United States Military Academy at West Point. He employed that same doggedness over his cadet career, whether in the classroom or on the athletic field, where he ‘walked-on’ to two Division I sports teams. Commissioned a Second Lieutenant, he enjoyed leading soldiers and commanding a Light Infantry Rifle Platoon in the 25th ID (L), Hawaii. Later, he served as both a Deputy Battalion Operations Officer and certified Primary Instructor at the U.S. Army Ranger School. It was these experiences in the home and in uniform where Jason came to appreciate the value and necessity of Leadership. Through this lens Jason sees his role as a client advocate and his obligation to do the right thing, at the right time, for the right reason-- the primary tenet of his role as Financial Leadership for clients.

To this end, Jason studied for and received his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation through the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. This independent credential is proof positive that Jason goes 100% and then some, ensuring the best possible preparation identifying and managing customers’ financial concerns. Jason resides in Northern California with his wife and their three children, where they also own and operate a health and wellness business, Balance Yoga Center. Outside of the office, Jason enjoys cheering for his hometown New England sports teams, trail running, weight training, hiking, coaching, and a lot of yoga! He is quite proud to have endowed the Veteran's Fund at the Community Foundation of the North State, a grantmaking public charity that is dedicated to improving communities in northern California. Jason is also a member of Redding Rotary and a past board member of the Redding Chamber of Commerce, the Youth Violence Prevention Council, the Avon Old Farms School National Leadership Council, and West Redding Little League.
