Over more than 30 years in financial services, Jim has been singularly dedicated to the well-being of his clients. Working one-on-one with a select group of affluent individuals, business owners and multigenerational families, Jim has always believed a comprehensive, transparent plan is the best way to build confidence and drive a long-term investment strategy. He is focused on helping to maintain the quality of his clients' lives by never losing sight of what really matters.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jim spent 8 years at UBS and prior to that, 26 years at Merrill Lynch in Kansas City, MO. He brings this broad experience to developing investment strategies tailored to each client's goals. While at UBS, Jim was among a select group of Financial Advisors who held the UBS Wealth Advisor designation. In addition, Jim has his Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation. Certified Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®) designation, and his Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation. He earned both his B.S.B.A. degree in finance and M.B.A. in finance from the University of Missouri – Columbia.

Beyond his deep understanding of the markets, Jim looks holistically at each clients' financial picture to understand the right investment mix for their unique situation. He is dedicated to the specialized needs of businesses and individuals. This includes business transition planning, retirement plan advisory services, risk and debt analyses, estate planning strategies and philanthropy. With the right plan in place, Jim feels great satisfaction knowing he has helped his clients bring order to their investments and simplify their entire lives.
